Dr. Kristin Ann Kozakowski, MD

She has a big smile on her online profile but she's so serious in person. Not warm at all. I didn't like how she did my son's circumcision at all. She left so much foreskin that I really want to do it again.for him. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would NOT go to her.

Had a horrible experience with this doctor recently with my son's surgery. A 45 min procedure turned into 4 hours and now we come to find out two months after surgery via an ultrasound result , my son's stone was left half of it inside of him. The doctor did not follow through with my son's pathology and the specimen collected was thrown away. Now we have no accurate diagnosis as to what stones my son makes. The doctor is very rude and has no patience. Does not seem to understand why a patients parent would get upset after such a horrible incomplete procedure on my son. Needless to say I will never ever be returning her office. I will be getting my son to see a real urologist that truly cares about their patients , communicates well and follows through with results. Luckily we found one in Tampa.

I have never written about a doc before but after seeing the negative review I felt I had to give my opinions. We have been seeing Dr. K for about a year and I have waited 90 mins or more to see her. Today we were the only ones in the office and she spent 2 hours with me and my son when she probably could have left and gone home. Her practice is managed by MCH so the scheduling is not under her control. After our first visit she called us to see how Jacob was doing when there was no pressing reason for her to call, it was just her being a good doc. She is compassionate and truly cares about her patients. All of us are there because our children are not well. She understands our anxiety and she sits with you and helps you get through it. She's a good woman who deserves a good rating. We love Dr. K.

I had a terrible experience with this doctor. She is a pediatric urology, and I took my 10 year old son to be seem, was in ER before for ultra-sound.In the first visit, doctor was not in the office, we were seem by a nurse. How can a nurse perform a diagnostic?? Urology is a very specific field of medicine. Nurse just told us to take Advil.Second visit, I scheduled in advance a time, got there in time, and waited 1 hour and 15 minutes. Then come the same nurse to do the evaluation and disgnostic. I complained, that we should see the doctor. We waited more, then come the doctor, sent about 1 minute with us, did not even read my son's chart entirely, asked me to tell what the problem was... Then recommeded a second ultra-sound, without even having evaluated the first one. Never explained to us what the problem was about, or anything. I had to keep asking things, like, if we should continue to take Advil.. she said we should have taken in the first place.. and that was recommended by the… nurse in the first visit...

My one year old had to have surgery, and I was extremely frightend. I went in to see Dr. Kozakowski for the initial visit and left feeling uncertain and even more worried. I can attribute a portion of being worried to the fear I had of the thought of something being wrong with my son and the remainder to the quick way Dr. Kozakowski diagnosed him. Not to get to far ahead of my self. This is a postive post about Dr. Kozakowski, she did a phenomenal job... she delivered on the day of surgery and was on point. I am glad I was able to look past the "ify" parts of the initial visit and allow her to operate on my son. One of the best decisions that I made concerning his current ailment. Dr. Kozakowski is a GREAT physician.
