Summary
Dr. Kurosh Safavi earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2003. He completed his residency at Ochsner Foundation in diagnostic radiology in June 2008. In 2009 he completed his fellowship in cross-sectional imaging (ultrasound and body MRI) at the Mayo clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. He joined our Radiology staff that year as Section Head of the Ochsner Westbank campus and also as a member of the ultrasound section at the Ochsner-Jefferson Highway campus. He is also board certified in diagnostic radiology and is a member of the ACR Committee on Ultrasound-Human Resources.
