Happy to add a glowing positive report about Dr Wharton ... I moved to him while he was in his previous group practice and followed him into his great private practice here in Lafayette. As an older woman, I feared I might feel like a very low priority .. no pregnancies any more. However, he seems to be great for women of all ages. I've come to believe that in addition tot he Doctor himself or herself, these days it is as important that the office staff are competent and accessible. He and his staff are accessible, attentive and competent, always making one feel as if we are the only person who matters during our appointments. He monitored a condition I had and even initiated phone calls to me to see how I was doing! Kind, competent, good listener, with a fabulous office staff. I recommend him highly to all age patients...
