I went to the ER with severe chest pains and was concerned that I was having another heart attack. Dr. Allgower was at my bedside as my ambulance arrived. He was worried that my stent was blocked and called my cardiologist right away. Within 30 minutes, I was back in the cath lab. My cardiologist told me, if I had not been taken to the cath lab right away, that I would probably have suffered permanent heart damage.
