Being under Dr. Holly's care was one of the best decisions I've ever made. After visiting multiple surgeons and getting a referral to Dr. Holly, I knew once I met him that I would be in the best hands. He is extremely caring, emphathetic, knowledgeable and confident in providing the best care for his patients. I'm now three months into my post operation after getting a microdiscectomy and had two large herniated discs, one 13 mm and the other 11 mm. Before the surgery, I was in the worst pain of my life when I had stenosis, unable to stand for more than 10 seconds and was on the verge of getting permanent nerve damage. Today, with Dr. Holly's care, I am able to life as normal as possible, a 100% turnaround before I had the microdiscectomy and am thrilled with the outcome of my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Holly to my family and friends. He'll literally have your back!

This Doctor gave me my life back. He literally got my back. I had so much pain in my back and leg that I could hardly walk. I lost sensation in my foot, and my big toe was completely numb. Doctor Holly was so kind, friendly and full of positive energy. I went to see him on Tuesday for my pain and he did his best to accommodate me to do surgery on Thursday of the same week. My herniated disk was pinching my nerves to the point that I lost strength of my leg. Both of his incredible secretaries Jennifer and Carrie went above and beyond to schedule all my lab work and COVID testing on the same day that I saw doctor Holly. Right after the surgery, I was able to walk and my numbness and pain completely gone. I have complete strength of my leg and pain free back. He has the hands and the spirit of a healer. I am forever grateful for Doctor Holly and his superb secretaries.

He's a very knowledgeable Dr. He shows how much he cares about your health issues. Very thankful for his care.

For years my mom, Jennie Caldera was living in constant severe pain, using a walker at all times, even going shopping had become a chore for her. Five minutes in and she was done. She had lost her spark that everyone that knew her loved.This wonderful and amazing man, Dr. Holly, has given me my mom back. You can see it in her face and eyes that she is back and better then ever. She is 3 months out since her surgery and is doing better everyday. We have done things in the past 3 months that I would have never dreamed of doing with her, a county fair, trip to the Santa Monica Pier, and even just a walk around her neighborhood. From the bottom of our hearts we are forever grateful for not only Dr. Holly but his wonderful and caring staff.

My sincere appreciation and thanks to Dr. Langston T. Holly for my three hour Lumbar 2-5 Laminectomy (spinal stenosis) surgery at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center on May 16, 2019. Dr. Holly did a fantastic job as I was walking within 24 hours without any pain. I also want to thank the physician’s team, nursing team, care team management and other staff members for their kind help, cheerful and very caring attitude during my four-day stay at the hospital. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Holly. He is an amazing surgeon and the nicest man you’ll ever meet. He’s kind and caring and he spends time explaining things. He performed a C7-T-1 discectomy and fusion on me in 2009 and it was life changing! 4 weeks ago he did a C5-C6 foraminotomy on me and as soon as I woke up the pain in my arm is gone!!! He is a brilliant surgeon and I am so grateful to get my life back!! I wouldn’t let anyone else cut into my spine and I highly recommend him to anyone who is suffering with spinal issues. Dr. Holly is awesome. His bedside manner is very cheerful and thoughtful. I had had 2 previous cervical spine surgeries that had not cured the problems, by another surgeon. I was blessed that my neurologist got me to Dr Holly. His expertise was apparent from the beginning. He knew exactly what needed to be done and stated that this should resolve my declining hand functions and be my last needed surgery. He made sure my pain post-op in the hospital was well managed. He kept me in the hospital until he felt I was stable to go home and didn't act like he was in a hurry to shove me out the hospital door. When I went to the office post-op he took as much time as I needed to answer all my questions. He said my surgery was a difficult one, but everything went as planned. I loved all the care I got at the UCLA Santa Monica hospital. My hand functioning has gotten better even before any therapy. I'm blessed to have Dr. Holly as my surgeon.
