Dr Lauren Macaluso was very through in understanding my past breastfeeding experience and what my current struggles were. She used easy analogies to clarify certain positions and movements. I felt truly heard and she was able to help me become comfortable and confident in a successful breastfeeding journey.

When I visit with Dr. Macaluso, I always feel like I'm speaking with a woman who is very knowledgeable in her field but also cares about me as a friend. I never feel judged and she is so sweet and kind as well as informative and supportive. A key that thing I pay attention to when seeing doctors or anyone professionally for that matter is if they pressure me to come back for extra visits that I may or may not need, she never does. She always tells me that she'll see me when I need her again and that makes me feel so comfortable and also inclined to keep seeing her. I've learned so much about my own health, family planning and my child's health and nutritional needs from meeting with her. Going on my second child and still chosing to seek advice from Dr. Macaluso. I highly recommend her.

I felt like my questions weren’t answered and that Lauren was getting frustrated with me that I wasnt understanding her. I am a new mom and very overwhelmed. She didn’t tell me anything I didnt already know. I was told my hormone levels were going to be checked and now I’m sent to a lab. I appreciated the time she took with me but she wasn’t answering my questions and was condescending. I’m upset with how the visit went and hope moving forward she can work to better understand how I feel and guide me. I was Looking for a schedule of pumping and formula feeding and I wasn’t able to get that. Again I’m a new mom and this is all stressful and confusing to me
