This man has no business in healthcare. Every time I asked if I could get a test or needed a test, he said “it’s up to you”. When I asked if I could get my prescription sent to a 24 hr pharmacy, it was like I was harassing him. With asking me a few simple questions, he was ready to send me out the door with nothing. He also had a resident with him and didn’t ask permission if she could observe, he just went straight into teaching her right in front of me. God help his future patients.

As a fellow healthcare provider, I know how a history and physical exam should be conducted. I had a HORRIBLE experience with this doc. He took absolutely NO history on me. Physical exam was barely one at all, consisted of less than 10 sec of assessing my abdomen (which was my reason for being there). He did not provide a diagnosis for my symptoms at all and work up for it was mediocre. Would request a different provider if I were to ever return to Scripps Green Urgent care

condescending in every possible way. Needs to take a break from practicing medicine

Doctor was rushed and just not thorough. He had his diagnosis made up before he even listened and examined me. NOT a good experience.

Dr Shapiro is kind, caring, patient and most of all a good listener. He possesses the skills that most Doctors don't seem to have anymore. He cares! I highly recommend this doctor.
