Dr. Laurie Fishman, MD

She was not open to any medical evidence or discussion, that did not go along with exactly what she wanted to do. She was rude and threatening. Her colleagues told me that she is too aggressive with putting in feeding tubes. Get a 2nd opinion. Unless a feeding tube is clearly necessary, do not assume just because she says your child needs one it is necessarily true. My child has thrived without one and no providers' have thought we made a mistake not getting one. Her ego should not drive your child's care, science and care should.

We have been seeing Dr. Fishman for over three years and she is truly wonderful. She takes time with each family to ensure that they understand diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We are so thankful to have her as our GI specialist.

Dr fishman is the best doctor i have ever seen. I started seeing her after being diagnosed with IBS but could not get it under control. She never gave up on me and saw me weekly for months until we found a treatment plan that worked for me. When I started having different symptoms she called another doctor right away to get a recommendation for me. She goes above and beyond and i owe her my health.
