Dr. Lawrence David Brenner

This man is the most arrogant, rude and demeaning doctor I’ve ever met (& I’ve met quite a few doctors having been married to a gastroenterologist). He not only doesn’t suggest getting a second opinion; he refuses to work with another physician. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

This man is the most arrogant, rude and overbearing doctor I’ve ever met (and I’ve met quite a few doctors having been married to a gastroenterologist). He not only doesn’t suggest getting a second opinion, he won’t work with another doctor. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy.

If he is the on-call doctor, beware! In the time it took him to tear me apart and refuse to help me, he could have called in my medication, that his office, incompetently, did not refill when I called 3 times last week! My blood pressure is 228/111 now and I have no medicine for the weekend! He snapped "go to the emergency room". Yeah, so I can sit with sick people for hours and come home with the flu? If you hate your job so such, retire!

In less than 1 1/2 years the stents he placed had almost totally blocked again. The new doctor observed that the stents had been under deployed. This has caused potentially serious complications. I have had several other stents placed by other doctors and none of them caused pain during the procedure like these did by this doctor.

I would suggest going to a veterinian for your heart problems before I would suggest Larry

Lied to me multiple times trying to see a doctor. Took over a month. Then gave me a senile old fool who hasn't advance his knowledge of medicine in the past 50 years. On top of which I gave them weeks’ worth of home ECG and blood pressure readings that he wasn't the least bit interested in. Was bed ridden for a month in the past 7 weeks, and still have symptoms. I've asked for my records on disk, because the technicians appeared competent and with my home readings I'm hoping to find a real cardiologist, plus I’ve learned to read them. They said, "OH, but they will charge you for that". I don't care, I have excellent insurance and am rather wealthy. The bigots probably judged me on the clothes I was wearing, well all millionaires don't dress like it.

I don't know how the Dr himself is but his front office staff need to be reevaluated. Called two and half weeks ago to schedule the appointment. Woman I spoke to insisted on me coming in the week I was going to be out of town and after the third time reminding her I cannot do that week she becomes very unprofessional and huffy. The day of my appointment comes and there is still no new patient paperwork in my mail or reminder call. Turns out the Dr had to go out of town and instead of calling to have me reschedule they chose the date for me for the same week I was gone. Didn't get the message until after I returned and couldn't tell who it was from. I hope the Dr is better then his staff but I'm not changing it.

Told me he didn't have time to answer my questions. I would need to schedule a seperate appointment (and pay for another visit!). Very rude toward me.
