Dr. Lawrence Joseph Campo, MD

This is the worst "so-called" medical provider ever!. He screams and yells at patients if he doesn't like a question or he forgot to ask critical questions and finds out"after the fact" that he should have been more pro active with his patient care!!! I had to report his actions several times to the medical board. He was willing to refer a patient to specialists, but he himself needs to be put out to pasture to spend his days playing golf.

I think he is great. A little hyper at times, but so am I. Provides good care. Has patient's best interest at heart. He sees my mother (98) my husband and myself. Never makes my mother feel she is too old for care or that she is not worth it because she will die soon as her previous MD. Wait time has always been reasonable from 5 to 15 mins. He is taking all the Covid precautions to make everyone safe. Excellent doctor.

He told my once well spirited grandmother healthy and even road her bicycle at age 80 and beyond and no has dementia an d has lost about 1/3 of herbody weight has blood clot and has been hospitalized 2 times withing as many weeks because he is so ignorant he did not have clue as to how treat her for a condition to help treat a condition so she would be able to return to eating solid food instead his solution was drink a protein drink and put your food through the blender as she was still unable to swallow the food and barely able to drink, now after having a feeding tube put in the doctor in the hospitial gave her a medicine that cured the problem in her throat . That is all took was real knowledge , which dr. campo has little none of now that my grandmother has been made an imva;id by that moron after years of being told she has cancer , COPD , she smokes (NEVER IN HER LIFE) and shes old , she is going soon any way etc etc ... do you really want this idiot treating you??????????

Great doctor but horrible staff..very rude and unprofessional towards each other & the patients

I have severe neck pain from a car accident in 05 & I called ofc for a prescription for muscle relaxers. My regular Dr was not in ofc as he is filling in @ diff ofc & Dr Campo looked over my chart & said there is nothing he can do for me. He referred me to Pain Mgt but there is not one in my county that takes my Insurance. He took an oath "Do no harm" , but doesn't follow it. I'm in so much pain I can't bare it any longer. If my reg Dr was in town I would not have to suffer like this. The DEA has every Dr in Fl running scared about getting on a list of over prescribing controlled meds. That makes him a coward. He cares more about his rep than helping his patients. He went to medical school in Mexico, says a lot about him. I have no recourse except filing a formal complaint w/ AMA which I plan to do. It is not even so much about the pain, but the fact that he doesn't care about people & has no compassion for fellow human beings. If enough people stood up for themselves things might… change one day. He thinks MD stands for made devine! He puts his pants on same way as everyone else. Karma will prevail.

Worst doctor I've seen. Swears and acts unprofessional. Acts like a little baby if he doesn't get his way! Sta y away!

He is a coward. His staff is unprofessional and tell lies. His nurses and case mgt are all incompetent. He has poor bed side manner and does a poor job with following up with his patients.

My mother in law goes to this doctor and has had big problems with him. He refuses to return calls and acts like a child when simple questions are asked. Do yourself a favor and do not make this guy your doctor.

Dr. Campo is a very good doctor. He has taken excellent care of my Mom. It is very hard to see him now that he has only two rooms there. Staff is good. Only problem is trying to get meds filled over the phone.

Dr. Campo has been my primary for close to ten years. He spends just enough time with me...If I have a question(s) he listens and responds...I never feel rushed. I'll admit his office staff can be difficult to deal with at times but I can deal with that if it means getting quality care from the physician. The saving my life part...at 27 yrs old I found out I had Renal Cell Carcinoma + a dermoid cyst on my ovary...most likely it would not have been found until too late had Dr. Campo not ordered the test that he did. Chance diagnosis? I don't believe it, not for a moment. Not only is Dr. Campo my physician but my mother, father and brother go to him as well.
