Dr. Lawrence Wallace, MD

This so called doctor should not be in practice. His background in Virginia is quite questionable (info) available on the internet. He certainly is not competent to do hip surgery. He aborted the surgery for my hip replacement because he was incompetent. I have not walked for over a year and must travel to Philadelphia to have the surgery. This so-called doctor broke the acetablum and aborted the surgery befcause he didn't know how to repair it. I never fell, so what can he do for someone who has fallen and brokjen a bone? Also, he worked 5 years as a physical therapist. Very strange. He was brought before the Virginia Medical Board and the reading is quite interesting. I would stay away from this person.

This is a warning to all prospective patients. This doctor is dangerous. I was a patient for a hip replacement. He aborted the surgery and shipped me off to Altoona Hospital. He did not admit it in so many words but was told acetablum fractured. Now, if he is so competent, which is obvious he is not, why couldn't he continue and repair. What about the people who fall and fracture acetablum, doesn't he fix that or does he ship them somewhere else? It has cost me two years of not being able to walk, I am in a wheelchair, and it has cost me thousands of dollars for equipment, doctors visits, medications, nursing home for several months, all thanks to this person who continues to practice regardless of his past record in the state of Virginia. Sure wish I would have known this before I agreed to his suggestion of a hip replacement. He should have his license revoked. He is dangerous.
