Not at all thorough. Dismissive and seems to be in a rush. Talked down to me.

Concealed through omission in the medical record METHOD OF CONTRACEPTION (condoms & spermicide) that would have explained the female irritation and pain during sex for an innocent young woman (20yo) who just moved in with her first boyfriend. Then falsified the record claiming the patient didn't know if PARTNER had been tested for STDS (when in fact, the partner had been tested multiple times and patient had proof in hand). Then suggesting to patient it was STILL possible to have a "latent" std that the testing didn't capture and dosed patient up with CEFTRIAXONE injection and told her to ALSO TAKE 7 DAYS OF DOXYCYCLINE without waiting for test results in one day?!? Then doesn't call patient to tell her to STOP doxycycline when test results are negative. Patient experiences all the HORRIBLE side effects (takes months to recover) of this overdose COCTAIL of unnecessary antibiotics and then is passed around Stanford for months and ultimately told all of this IS LUPUS (how can THIS… be deemed a CHRONIC condition when no prior history?)- now dangerous lupus drugs are started! YEAH FOR STANFORD now this poor patient becomes a revenue stream for LIFE....a short life. What was once a happy healthy young girl just embarking on life and stepping out on her own is thrown face down into a toxic pharmaceutical mud puddle - dead in 4 years. THANKS MILLEHISER - HOPE YOU ARE LOVING THOSE GUCCI SHOES!!

i'm horrified

I struggle with trust my health is complicated and it's very hard for me to trust any medical doctor. Dr. Millhesier realized that about me and she really got to know me and became a doctor I trust incredibly. She' is brilliant but she is incredibly relatable and she really cares.

Dr. Millheiser is the best doctor I have ever had. She was the most attentive, the most interested in the whole self (what was happening emotionally as well as physically during my pregnancy), the most knowledgeable regarding my specific needs as a woman and a patient (nervous about the strange things happening to my body), and intuitive (as I was moving into a new and crucial stage of my life with impending motherhood and the nervousness of entering that new role as mother). The day of my delivery I was in a state of alarm and heightened anxiety until she called and we talked. It took maybe 10 words from Dr. Millheiser to calm me instantly and know I was in the best hands. "Let's have a baby today!" Were the words that she uttered, which held me through the entire delivery. Her reassuring smile and well-earned confidence carried me through the otherwise anxious experience. Because of Dr. Millheiser my memories of pregnancy, delivery and first year as mommy are those made of girlhood… dreams.

I got very tired of explaining my complex situation every time I visited. I was constantly given suggestions for treatments that previously had not been beneficial, or would not be fesable because of my anatomy.

Dr. Millheiser was wonderful. She was very easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. She is definitely the best obgyn i've been to.
