Have you seen Dr. Lee Peck?

He came into an intensive care unit and proceeded to over-dehydrate my wife, which caused the bad liver to send her blood ammonia level up 100 points and put her in a coma. She woke up thre days later and wanted to move around. Dr. Peck gave her Haldol, which is for bi-polar disease or schizophenia. It never should be given to someone with liver, heart, or artery problems, all of which my wife had. That caused more liver damage and made her kidneys fail, so she had to go on dialysis. High doses of Lactulose to clear the ammonia caused continuing diarrhea, so for an anti-diarrhea med, he gave Rifaxamin for two weeks, which is for Traveler's Diarrhea. It is an e-coli medicine, which should be discontinued after three days if it's not working. It actually is sometimes used in conjunction with Lactulose to help with clearing ammonia from the colon. Dr. Peck was wrong on every major decision and really thought he was right at the time. He refused to check the internet for proper usage and side effects. He spent a lot of time trying to talk us into putting her in Hospice to die so he could bury his mistakes. She was so weak after his treatments, she could not regain strength and died ten days later.
