Dr. Lee Stuart Stein, MD

I have seen Dr. Stein several times during the past 9 months. Each visit he has taken time to listen carefully and then reply to every question extensively. His bedside manner is excellent, takes as much time as necessary to ensure I Understand why each test is done and the results. Never makes me feel embarrassed when I cannot remember, or am repetitive, which happens when you forget. Every visit he checks me over - just like the initial visit - so he can Evaluate whether my conditions have improved to declined. I feel confident that Dr. Stein will discover the cause of symptoms, and how to treat each. I highly recommend without reservation. TJM

he diagnosed my transverse myelitis but after treatment he kept running more tests because he wasn't total sure that's what I had. That's forgivable considering the difficulty of these type diseases. Bedside manner is neutral, not distant but not engaging either. It's been a few years since I've seen him and I just now tried to make an appointment for a yearly review but the first appointment isn't for a full month. I am going to go see someone else. I basically need an mri to check for any spinal inflammation which I guess the radiologist reads and not the neurologist (I think) so I'm guessing the neurologist is not that critical in this particular instance; so I'm going to another Dr.

I highly recommend Dr. Stein. He is a great doctor and funny too! He spent the necessary time with me that he needed to in order to discuss my problems and help me. I'm assuming that the person who gave a negative review doesn't understand Dr. Stein's humor... Great experience with him. I would recommend to a friend!

This Is THE BEST neurologist ever. I was so pleased when I went in for my first appointment. He took his time to get to know me and my history. I did not feel rushed at all. Its not too often that you find a doctor that is not trying to rush through your visit. He seems very thorough and that's exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended!

I found Dr. Stein and was so relived when he discovered what was going on with me. There is no other neurosurgeon I would trust!! He listened and did not just assume I was crazy! He did only the necessary tests and within weeks we had an answer.
