Dr. Lee Sesslar, MD, FACOG

This my first pregnancy.. I had some bleeding beginning of my second trimester I called the office because I was concerned everything I read said there should be no bleeding at all.. so I was concerned.. I was told by dr sessler it was completely normal and nothing to worry about.. she didn’t even see me in office how did she know nothing was wrong?? She always rushed visits, never answered my questions made me feel stupid. Like I was suppose to know everything already she always made it seem like I was wasting her time. She told me she didn’t understand why I was so worried I needed to just relax she knows how to do her job. I defiantly do not recommend sessler. Waited in her cold office for half the day to see.. she her super careless doesn’t take the time to explain anything to you. I have tons of questions but I feel like I can’t ask her because she rushes you out of the office talks down to you. She gave terminated my care after I saw the dr on call due to some bleeding I had and… was concerned in my second trimester because she would not see me. Not a good first impression. I’m a first time mom and I’m scared and Nervous and she doesn’t make me feel comfortable she did a Pap smear and it hurt I’ve had several done before nothing like hers do not go to her stay away

Makes good eye contact and seems very knowledgeable about my gynecological problem. Was gentle and efficient with biopsy procedure.

Angry and cold

Dr. Sesslar is patient, thorough, and caring. Excellent staff, excellent bedside manners, Accommodating to this Mother of 5. She is AWESOME!

I took the earliest consultation available, which was two weeks (not an issue for me). The reception area is nicely set up with dividers for patient privacy. I had a 9:30 appt and was taken in straight away. I spent time with the nurse filling out preliminary paperwork, and Dr. Sesslar came in immediately following the paperwork. There was not any lag time. The nature of my appt was for uterine fibroids. She took the time to explain medical terms, draw a diagram, explain sizes and locations, and answer all questions. I had explained that I had never had a pelvic exam or a pap smear due to my history of sexual abuse. Dr. Sesslar was extremely considerate of my feelings and my boundaries during conversations and the exam. Due to my family history Dr. Sesslar suggested I be tested for BRCA1 and BRCA2 (genetic cancer testing). She explained that many insurances cover the test, and if mine did not that there were payment plans available. I said I wanted the test and I wasn't… concerned about cost, but my overall health. I never felt pushed into the test; it was on my terms. The phlebotomist they have on staff is wonderful! I have very small veins that like to hide, and a draw is typically very difficult for them to attain. She achieved it on the first try! I will admit that after reading the other reviews I was hesitant, but I wanted to be the judge of Dr. Sesslar for my own health. I am glad I did not listen to the other reviews. My experience was completely positive and I recommend her. She is patient, a straight talker, and she asked me multiple times if I had any questions. I never felt rushed during my appointment. See for yourself that Dr. Sesslar is worth your long term health.

She is ridiculously rude and her nurses reflect on her . They also make you feel bad about yourself . I wouldn't recommend her.

I have been using Dr. Sesslar for the past 10 years and have loved her. She as always been great with me. I have never had an issue getting and appointment when needed. Her staff calls back when I have questions and she has always shown concern when I had questions or issues (which luckily are seldom). I plan to continue using her and I recommend her to people.

Takes forever to even schedule an appointment , called this morning to make my next DEPO shot appnt, been on it for years, but they still will not just give me a nurse appointment, I give my info and wait DAYS for a nurse to call me back to make the injection appointment. I work full time and getting time off is extremely hard, but they don't care. The office hours are like 8:30-4pm for appointments so I need to take an entire day off every few months when it is time to get my shot, I am currently looking for another provider, this is ridiculous.

My experience was horrible. She was not my doctor but delivered me because she was the one on call at the hospital. My baby was still born and she made me feel like i was wasting her time whenever she checked on me. It was my first delivery and we knew he was not going to make it because we were sure that he had a trisomy disorder. We just weren't sure which one and after his poor little heart stopped was when they induced me. I was lucky i didn't have her the whole time i was there. There was another doctor that started the induction and was there for most of it. But i was so hurt and scared and she was the one that made me feel worse. She treated me like nothing. after the delivery we decided to do a lab workup instead of doing a full autopsy because we already basically knew what he had we just weren't sure if the exact trisomy. it required her to take a piece of tissue from his leg to send for a biopsy. she did it right in the room. she didn't close a curtain, she did it right in… front of me. couple of feet from the end of my bed. i was crying and covering my eyes with my hands and she just continued like i didnt exist. no one should have to go through that!

I don't know what these other comments are about.....she is an awesome doctor for me and several of my friends. I would highly recommend.
