I would strongly recommend this doctor to anyone that is seeking to find a good neurologist that listens to his patients and sincerely cares about their well being. I was able to get in and out in less than a half hour. I went to the new location on the Southside of Indy. Staff is great and very helpful. Thank you Dr. d'Ambrosio.

 |  exceptional! ignore the "low" ratings, IT IS NOT THE Dr.  |  show details

Dr. d'Ambrosio is exceptionally committed. He is most patient - which for my case has been crucial as it so complex and atypical. A patient would be hard pressed to find another neurologist who will actually TRY to listen to ALL you say, every appointment(not my experience with other Dr.s) and work with you as long as it takes. Neurology is a very coplicated field and you will likely need to think of new ways to communicate your issues - it takes time: no one can instantaneously assimilate myriad vague bits of information and it is up to you to reiterate facts in your follow-up appointments -it is unfair to expect him to remember everything you ever said. And if you have overlapping issues like I do, once in a while I even restate the "obvious" Do not expect resolution in a few appts and you may have to try different meds. My case is ongoing for 8yrs...But, WE have continued to make progress.

The office staff is unfriendly and inattentive. I sat in the waiting area for about half an hour when my mother and I arrived early for a recent appointment. I observed sour expressions on thei faces of the office staff, particularly the young lady greeting patients. There was nothing friendly about their facial expressions or tones of voice. They ignored patients instead of greeting them promptly. I've attempted for three days now to get information by phone. I got one call back at which time I was told the staff member would call me back. She has not.

Dr. D'ambrosio is very methodical. It may seem like it is taking a long time to diagnose you problem, but not all issues are easy. I have migraines and he has worked with me to alleviate them them great success. I recommend him highly.
