Kobayashi is an associate professor and active educator in the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and its postgraduate training program in emergency medicine. Kobayashi is past chair of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) Simulation Interest Group, inaugural panel member of the SAEM Simulation Academy and a reviewer for the Society for Simulation in Healthcares journal Simulation in Healthcare.
