Dr. Leon Tan Que, MD

As a 3+ yr client of his practice, I would continue to recommend Dr. Que, he is an excellent provider of care. I believe he surpasses his colleagues in his individualized & relationship-based approach, broad knowledge, and rich life experience. I've never observed red flag stereotypes like big-ego doc, golf-course doc, or clinic profitability; maximizing patient processing rates. Administrative/insurance matters have been painless. I've found his office team to be warm and committed.

Dr. Que is a wonderful psychiatrist. He knows the drug facts backwards, and years of training have made him a rare expert in judging what's right for whom. I recommend him without reservation, in the strongest possible terms. He combines expertise with compassion, decency and thoughtfulness. It is almost impossible to find these together - he is solid gold.

Dr Que is a God send and I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone. He listens, he cares and he literally got me out of bed and living a good life again. He’s not afraid to use meds but closely monitors them, and helps you gradually wean off when the time is right. People that give him bad reviews must not understand how talk therapy and medication are both necessary for patients suffering from severe trauma, PTSD and anxiety/panic disorders. He’s old school and requires responsibility and commitment from his patients, which is a rarity in this culture!

I suffered from depression for close to 30 years. I got in to see Dr. Que and we took a different tack in my treatment—and my depression was stopped COLD. In its tracks. He is compassionate, professional, and a gifted healer. If you are willing to do the work to get well, he is willing to help you get there.

I saw Dr. Que for almost 2 years. He is extremely arrogant and judgmental! He will harp on any issue he has with you, instead of listening to your concerns. Most of your hour will consist of metaphors he learned in his classrooms at John Hopkins. Be prepared to learn all about some elephant he sees in the middle of the room, and so on... If you want someone that is actually going to listen to you and not judge you, look elsewhere, otherwise expect to be criticized and belittled every appointment.

This guy is the real deal. Well educated, stays up to date on things, totally in the moment in each session even when there is a room of people waiting and the phone rings. He got me better. He would say we did it together but I know he was leading the ship. He tells the truth always, even if it's not what you want to hear. And I like him more for that. you get what you pay for. He is in network with insurance but not all of them. (I had to switch so I know that). His out of pocket rates seem high, but when I called around I found its less than others. But I really just wanted to stay w him so I got an insurance he took. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for me. Go Dr Que go you rock

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Que. I can honestly say he has saved my life through the medications prescribed and face-to-face time. Dr. Que takes the time to listen to the nuances of what I am saying and we form a treatment plan together. Through his care my suicide ideation has dropped to almost zero and my bipolar disorder is stabilized to a point I never thought possible. Again, I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Que. I would recommend him to anyone - I trust him implicitly.

If you are serious about getting better, Dr. Que is the best!
