You were evaluated by specialists in allergy and otolaryngology, both of whom said you had allergic rhinitis NOT from mold. You were given medication and told to quit smoking. Dr. Cupo (a non-golfer!)

I visited Dr. Cuopo yesterday. I was married to a physician for over 25 years and recognize an excellent Physician when I meet one. Dr. Cupo gave me well over 2 hours of his time, offered excellent advice, and a treatment plan that made sense. Dr. Cupo is a well trained, compassionate, and an outstanding physician.

Work for the county of hawaii, my co-works and myself became ill due to environmental exposure to molds, have plenty documentation from primary care physician, pointed directly to the exposure. First of all Cupo's wife ( whom is not a registered nurse) performed the triage, then had to wait for 1 hour for the Dr, u could hear him on the phone talking story about golf!! This was august 2016, after 3 months still no report, I called to inquire, talked with his secretary ( his wife), was informed they had no record of me being seen....she told me would get back to me.....at 6 months, I called back was informed the same, never been seen,,,,, I called my Human Rescoures, then Wormans Comp rep about this.....said they would contact the Dr.....I finally received the report September 2017.....Dr Cupo report indicated that my symptoms were not due to the environmental exposure, disclaims all the previous doctors reports, this Joke of a 'doctor' is completely in the pockets of the hiring… entity.....please if any one has to see this doctor for an IME, do what ever you can to get a real doctor.....What a joke.....Shame on u

All though it was about a 20-30 min wait to see the doctor I thought Dr. Cupo was excellent through and through. He answered all my questions I wasn't certain about and made me feel at ease with his professional opinion. He also has a great sense of humor and is very personable. He actually gets to know his patients with I think is wonderful about Dr. Cupo. And for all these negative reviews I see about Dr. Cupo and his practice, well maybe his professional opinion is correct and you're the ones who are looking for a handout. I'm sorry but it's a tuff business these IME doctors are in and someone needs to stand up for the good ones that are out there. Dr. Cupo is a great doctor hands down and I appreciate all he's done for me.

Knows he is paid by attorneys for insurance companies. Will bend other doctors diagnosis to help insurance companies. Very thorough in differing with several other doctors opinions and twists their words.

I got injured at work for real no joke, no trying to abuse the system nonsense, I was attacked by a man. I had worked for my company 10 years with zero history of any misconduct or complaints, I believed with all my heart that my company was gonna take care of me at the time I reported my injury. They did not. To add to the betrayal, this "doctor" we are all reviewing here wrote a fake report on me even though I did NOT see, speak with, I NEVER heard of him before in my life!!! Yet he submits on behalf of my company and the WC insurance company a report on me without ever meeting or speaking to me! He made a false report saying we had a appointment and my injuries are pre existing! I never heard of this guy until I was shown this report he wrote on me based on scraps of old medical records he was able to get. This has to be illegal?! To say he examined me when he did not and that my injuries are pre existing?! Obviously not as I worked ten years for them with no problems, just a lot… of employee awards I received and tons of positive comment cards from guests so this sell out joke of a man has zero honor,zero integrity and everyone need not worry, BELIEVE he will get his by karma! He has a CHOICE to make REAL evaluations! If he had any integrity or honor he would choose to make evaluations based on 1- actually meeting the person 2- the persons complaints, medical records, history, medical/lab tests, and what he can see or feel as a doctor upon his own examination. His TRUE evaluation based on the full story, not a preconceived report he is paid for and already knows he's going to slander the person and negatively report their situation. After what happened to me, the fact that my company and this QUACK together made up this report makes me sick! I hope he reads this and I cannot wait until he gets his own bad karma as well as the cowards I worked with that know the truth yet refuse to step forward.

Insurance company paid Cuppo $10K to say I could return to work when I couldn't

This man has ruined many lives while accepting obscene amounts of money from these insurance companies. This rating doesn't allow negative numbers.

Dr. Cupo is a wonderful doctor. I believe that all these other ratings from others have to do with the patients not getting there way. However I did wait a bit long. But everything else was wonderful.

After I got sick at work.Gallagher and Basset assigned this guy for my IME. I had to wait 45 minutes to be seenwhen I was the only patient there!!! He walked back and forth eating snacks and chatting with the receptionist. During the exam he completely ignored many of the symptoms I reported. He didn't even take note of my home life or other possible scernarios that could be responsible for my illness. He scribbled all his notes haphazardly on a sheet of white paper. He started asking me these current event questions saying it was a cognitive exam. At the end he tried to "suggest" that my illness was caused by emotional distress.I told him if you did bloodtest you would see clearly the issue I am reporting. He ignored that statement. I started looking for a lawyer so I can get a fair exam as soon as I got home. Anyone else unfortunate enough to be assigned this guy should too.
