I first met Dr.Vance on 08/04/2020 .The doctor what he was willing to take me on as a patient.That came to an end 06/20/2022.Im 65 now and need your services again.Thanks for your time,SFC Retired Charles B Clark Jr.

Dr. Vance has worked with me for several years to find the root of my pain and the best ways to treat it. He has helped me be functional again. Before this, I had tried other doctors and types of specialists and nothing worked, including those who told me there was nothing in my tests that showed a problem and that it should not be hurting. It was totally discouraging, bordering on feeling despair. It took a while to find the right treatment by Dr. Vance, but he, nor none of his nurse practitioners ever gave up. Today, he has ways to address my pain to a a good extent. Some notes: If you are new to seeing a pain Dr. be aware that you will give a urine sample every time you go in. This is what he requires to meet laws and ensure patients are not becoming addicted or taking medicines or substances that shouldn’t be mixed. It’s for your safety and to meet the increasingly stringent requirements in today’s laws. If you are not prepared to do certain things, such as stop taking… addictive products — e.g, I ultimately stopped taking nicotine replacement products — he will not treat you. He worked with me to make that process easier. He is serious about trying to help you. Seeing him was one of the best things I have done. He has a good heart.

Be careful. He almost let me die. I was a pain pump patient the only one. Don't ever get one. When alarm goes off, he won't help you.. He screams in your face.. contact me for any questions.. I believe the medical field let me down, and so did he..he will give out pain medication but when something goes wrong look out he's done with you. I wouldn't take my dog to him..

From recurring billing problems with the office losing track of receipt of payments to both myself and my pharmacy having extreme difficulty getting messages to the doctor having anyone from the office return my phone calls…I’m frustrated. They have have me immensely though.

Dr. Vance is treating me currently. He and his nurses are the first to “get it”. The first i’ve Found who care. His nurse who treats me during my infusions is filled with empathy and compassion. Never have I had anyone sit and talk and listen to me about the pain I’ve been lost in for 20 years. I’m used to Drs. Throwing scripts at me and wishing me luck. Not here. They care.

Dr Vance literally save my life. He never gave up on me and he has given me a better quality of life. Dr Vance thank you for you compassion, patience and your knowledge. Thank you for listening to me. Your staff is excellent and so very kind. I am so blessed to have found you. You should have a 10 star rating. Thank you again for giving me a life back

Dr. Vance is the BEST pain management doctor in the Jackson area! When he gives an injection, it works. I had been to several before I was finally referred to him, and he has kept me going!

Dr. Vance really doesn't spend enough time with me as a patient. He seems to be overbooked or something because all he is interested in doing is getting me in writing the script and getting me out. He has only physically touched me on my first appointment over 2 years ago. Seems like a pain doctor should at least do a physical exam where they poke and prod on what hurts the patient. I still go to him because it is easy, but I don't feel that I will be getting any progress. I will simply keep getting pills every visit and move on. If you try to ask too many questions or "hold him up" for too long, he gets irritated.

Dr. Vance has a no smoking policy. I saw his NP for a year and saw him for a si joint injection. I really like him and his staff. I started smoking again so I had to find another doctor. If I could start over with them I would. Great people!

I love Dr. Vance he is God with needles. It was the only relief I knew. He did series of injections on me and the bill got into the thousands. I was told I was sent a letter saying I could no longer be patient, however, I check with the post office a certified letter was never registered with them for my address. When I followed up with my insurance as to why they were not paying for the injections they said it was because my meds kept increasing, therefor the shots should not have been done. I had been seriously hurt after the injections, the NP never documented that. I was perfectly honest with her, she kept trying to reduce meds, which was usually fine. A few times I had to take an extra (never exceeding what the DOCTOR had previous prescribed) I always gave her the time and reason for the extra, she only documented what fit her agenda. She had made it clear from the day she started there she had a problem with me. Because I also reported to a Humana NP every month who accurately… documented the initial sever injury and the the subsequent falls because my body had not stablized (the NP repeatly told me she would help me get a neurologist and never did). Human was able to verify that Dr. Vance was not performing unessasry procedures and paid all of the back injections. Dr. Vance is good man and amazing Doctor. His NP has a wanna be Doctor complex. She doesn't uses what you tell her so that you can properly get the help you are looking for but to fit her agenda and if she doesn't like you.....if another NP had not properly document what was going the injections would never have been covered.
