Amazing skilled surgeon, wonderful bedside manner, results are just what I imagined! Dr. Landis and her staff were attentive during all of my visits and gave me a calm confidence the day of surgery.

I am sharing my experience to warn others considering Lesley Landis. I went to Dr. Landis for a very minor lip scar revision. I clearly explained that a small lump from a prior injury was caused by my body reacting poorly to dissolvable sutures, and that this history was the entire reason I sought her care. Despite this, she chose to use dissolvable sutures again, both inside and outside my lip. This decision was not clearly discussed beforehand and was only mentioned once the procedure had already begun, leaving me unable to meaningfully consent. After the procedure, far more tissue had been cut than what was discussed. When I raised concerns, I felt dismissed rather than heard. Over the following months, I repeatedly expressed concerns about healing and was told it was “just swelling.” At a later follow-up, my concerns were acknowledged, but I was told she had “never seen this before” and that nothing could be done. I paid money to be left permanently worse off. What was once a… very minor issue is now a visibly scarred, uneven lip with obvious stitch marks. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Landis to anyone seeking facial scar revision or cosmetic work where communication, informed consent, and accountability are important.

My reconstruction looks terrible. My breasts are not the same shape, nor in the same, or even similar, position on my chest. She failed to suture the left breast to the end of the incision in both surgeries. That oversight has left me with a pin hole in my skin that will not close or heal. It has also created an obvious point, (a literal triangle that protrudes out awkwardly), on the breast where the skin was sutured inappropriately. I was not provided the opportunity to have a consultation with the surgeon prior to either operation. When I brought up my concerns with her staff I was dismissed with a incredibly hurtful joke that made it very clear that I was not being heard nor taken seriously. I was unlucky to have been diagnosed with breast cancer. I was even more unlucky to have been referred to Leslie Landis as my surgeon.

Extremely skilled and very kind surgeon. Had 3 failed reconstruction surgeries after double mastectomy. She fixed all problems with one surgery. Eight months later my results still amazing.

I had gone to 3 different consultations for a breast reduction and was recommended by a friend to go to Dr. Landis. Choosing her as my doctor was the best decision ever. She was so kind and very informative over everything and answered every question I had, even silly ones that were probably common sense. Due to the size of my breast, there were several risks with the surgery and every bad thing that could’ve happened, did NOT. I healed rather quickly and my scars are barely visible. I am 3 months post op and they just keep getting better! This woman changed my life and I will forever recommend her to anyone that is needing any sort of plastic surgery done. Thank you Dr. Landis for changing my life. ??

She has done an great job. Clad to call her my dr along side Kelsey W. her pa_c. She has been there since my post opp sergury. Even tho my healing process has been troublesome, she always gives the best advice and explains the best of everything. She has great staff and bedside manner.

As a cancer patient, I was unwilling to sign a form to allow her to publish my photos for her personal use. I wanted them kept in my file only. She would not allow this and had her nurse ask me to leave without even seeing me. Staff was rude and unprofessional. You are only a number to her. Beware!
