Dr. Babbitt is thoughtful and listens. She brings the patient into a partnership with their care. I have chronic health issues that are not always obvious. We discuss them and she runs tests she believes to be useful in decision making. We discuss the range of possibilities in a way that helps me understand what might be happening without scaring me into worry. When what is happening is not clear, she moves immediately to rule out any high-risk health problems. When no serious problems are found, she works through low-risk treatments to identify potential explanations for my symptoms. She is very careful about when to refer to specialist. I appreciate her kind aggressiveness in respecting my health issues. I have had other doctors who ignored symptoms that could have been treated early but were left until their cause was painfully clear because the disorder had advanced. Because she takes time with each patient her punctuality starts off fine early but the wait can be long.

Beware of Juniper Springs Medical Center and their practice of raking their patients over the coals. You will be required to sign a "contract" which they will not provide you a copy of and will charge you a no show fee if you attempt to reschedule according to their "contract". It is an awful facility with snotty personnel.

After three attempts to reschedule an appointment they continue to charge me for a missed appointment. The office staff is absolutely horrible. Be prepared for a battle if you dare attempt to change an appointment. Absolutely the worst office staff I've run across in a medical facility.

The first doctor I have seen who actually listens to me and seems to genuinely care about my problem. She is very thorough and seems very up to date on the medical literature. Office environment was also much nicer than most.

The wait was a bit long, but I understood once I got into the exam room. She takes her time with you and I felt like I was part of the process and not just a car up on a lift. Most docs won't talk with you, but she does and helped me understand the issues and the treatment. I know I took a bit more of her time than I should, but she didn't seem to mind. I wasn't rushed in or out. Made my wait more worthwhile once I understand it was only because she was taking time with another patient too.Staff was good, but I wasn't there for them. I don't go to McDonald's for the staff either. I go to the doctor's office for the doctor and this one is tops.

Used to have a courteous, friendly staff. Now they are as cold and professional as an IRS office. You have to be patient because you aren't going to get in very fast but the reason why is because she takes the time to talk with you. She reviews your blood tests and makes her diagnosis and prescribes the necessary meds but it seems like if you tell her about any physical problems she just sends you to some other type of doctor.
