Patient will be enrolled in her trial only after the rad/chemo works. Then why we need you? There is still 1/3 of chance you will be taking placebo. The surgical removal of tumors she performed was also not as clean as I read it should be. Wasted valuable time for normal treatment. "If XXX has significant tumor progression following radiation/chemo, this is actually an exclusion criterion for continuing on the Phase III DCVax trial. In our prior studies, the vaccine works best when the tumor is stable/minimal disease, rather in the face of a rapidly progressing tumor."

I've been her patient, she visited me only once - the day after surgery. No follow up visit while I was in neuro-ward and neuro rehab, and even post eval of my wound I never see her. I called her secretary for ff-up visit post discharged from the hospital.

Dr. Liau is one of the best (if not the best) brain tumor surgeons I have come across. Very knowledgeable across the board - including neurooncology - and openminded and thorough.
