Dr. Mark K Olgaard, DO

I had several appointments with Dr. Olgaard over several years and loved him. He was frank, happy to work within financial limitations , careful and stayed up to date on current treatment options. He was excellent, his staff were great and he didn't believe in overbooking. A wonderful doctor and I would go back to his practice in a heartbeat if I lived anywhere near.

Dr. Olgaard failed to introduce himself when he entered the room where I was waiting. We spent approximately 30 minutes discussing my health and related medications. When he was finished documenting my answers, he said he would schedule another appointment for me. Then he stood up and left the room without saying goodbye, nice meeting you, or anything like that. He was knowledgeable of my medical problems. But, I left thinking he was rude and inconsiderate.

If I could give this negative stars, I would. Mark Olgaard is, by far, the worst physician I have ever encountered. He is rude, unfriendly, and sarcastic. He has no compassion for his patients, and he does not care about their well-being. He should be fired and his license should be revoked. The way he interacts with his patients is truly heartbreaking. If you do not truly care about helping people, then quit your job. Every person I have talked to about going to him are completely disappointed and infuriated. It is a shame that there are more caring VA doctors around Oscoda.
