Dr. Mary Irene Buss, MD

I've read all the comments about "time" being an issue. Thankfully I have never had a problem where I needed to see here asap. I would suggest the scheduling people blank out a small portion of the daily schedule to accommodate this type of scenario. Personally, when I have a scheduled appointment, she is very thorough and actually takes her time and asks a lot of questions - so I will definitely continue to see her on a semi-annual basis.

I usually don’t write reviews but wanted to share my experience with Dr. Buss. After much research I found her on internet and had to wait many months for my first appointment. I was pleasantly surprised she actually read my paperwork and discussed my medical history with me. She was easy to talk to, answered all my questions and I didn’t feel rushed. My appointment was on time. Everyone in the office was very friendly and very professional. Definitely worth the wait!

Dr a use is wonderful! She takes time to find out what's really going on so she can help you.

Very disappointed with Dr. Buss. She is a wonderful doctor. However, to get an appointment with her takes an act of congress. It takes any where from six weeks to three months to get in for an appointment. That is fine if you have nothing wrong, but when I need to see someone, I need to see them in a few days. I had a problem a few weeks ago and was told I could have an appointment six weeks out. I was told her nurse would call me back to try to work me in. A week later was too late. The answer to that was.....go to the emergency room if you can't want that long. That is part of the problem with our health care system now. The emergency room is for life threatening emergencies, thus the name "Emergency Room". Great doctor if you have a month or two wait for an appointment.

This doctor does not undertand that each patient is not the same as general popultion, cannot put everyone in the same catorogy. i WILL TELL AYONE THAT i KNOW THAT IS CONSIDERING NEW DOCTORM TO STAY AWAY FROM WHAT i CONSIDER AS A BONIFIED QUACK.

She kept at the problem until a resolution was found. The issue was very complex but the dr. took all kinds of time and listen to what I had to say, unlike a few of her co doctors at Briarcliff. Its sad taht she has left that practice

We've enjoyed bringing my mother in law to the office to see Dr. Buss. We are saddened that she is leaving. But we will follow her.

I had to wait jsut under ann hour. Then I saw the doctor for 5 minutes. Attention to detail was not her strength. I must find a new doctor now!!!

The first two medications she wrote were for high quantities of drug before we knew if it was the correct one. It turned out to be wrong, so my insurance co and I are both out over $100 cumulatively.An MRI was ordered and it took 48 hrs to get to the referral desk before it even was sent to my insurance co for approval.
