Totally said what I had was not neurological, and wrote this on my discharge papers. The next day a MRI that was ordered by my primary Dr came back to show I had cervical spinal stenosis.. pretty bad to. I switched Dr. And had only one appointment with him and I am now going to a neurosurgeon for surgery.. she had. No bed side manner, totally ignoring my symptoms saying it was all in my head..My daughter has gone to her for epilepsy..needless to say I am taking my daughter to someone else as well.. it was a horrible experience being treated like your crazy... I hate when drs. Don't listen to the patient and she is definitely one of them..

had an attitude. Called me too skinny when she herself looks too skinny. Got mad because I don't believe in homeopathic remedies. My second appointment she sent me home because I was late because of car detours and closed roads. She is not very nice.

My primary care doctor wanted me to be followed by a neurologist for TBI as diagnosed several years before. It was difficult getting an appointment, and then they wanted me to come on one day's notice when I had to come a long distance by disabled transit. Finally get to see the doctor and they appeared to have lost my medical records. She works with a neuropsychologist who doesn't have much sense either. I told them that due to processing and recall problems, I could NOT give a proper medical history - -that they had to check with the records from my primary care doctor. They appeared to have lost them. Just as well -- they tried to tell me that my speech and recall problems were due to "nervousness" and THEY confused other injuries with the TBI which were very distinctly different causes and times that they occurred. The doctor and her neuropsychologist were very condescending and clueless. They are not up to date on the latest theories of brain damage and ways to… diagnose and treat it. I got the impression she was really just looking for clear-cut recent injuries of a certain type for a study. Getting to this appointment took many months of work from my primary care doctor's office and myself, and was a total waste of time. She is neither on the ball nor compassionate, nor able to think "outside the box" the way the best specialists on the cutting edge of their field usually are. Don't bother unless you are a 100% healthy young white athlete who just got a tap on the head -- that fits into her study criteria.

For my first visit, there was no problem getting in. A very lengthly questionaire & the evaluation was done by a Med Student, Dr. Domvoby reviewed the questionaire & evaluation in the hallway, then came into the exam room for about 15 min. She asked some more questions and examined my back & posture, then said to get an x-ray and call on Monday morning the next week for a follow-up appointment. I was never able to successfully get a follow-up. After several calls to the office to get an appointment, I was eventually put on a waiting list. Through the various calls & discussions with the office staff, it all came out that Dr. Dombovy only sees patients 1 day per month. So, you will NOT get any follow-up care or treatment with this Dr. Several months after my appointment with her & a lot of phone calls, I was able to get one of the office workers to read my file and tell me the results of the x-ray. Ultimately, I heard my diagnosis from office staff over the phone... arthritis &… mild scolosis. A few months after finally getting my diagnosis, and still being in pain, I decide to go somewhere else, only to find out that Dr. Dombovy completely missed the fact that I have a herniated disk, and the symptoms I told them I had, then & now, are classic symptoms for it. Bottom line, don't waste a moment of your time with Unity Spine Center. They're a scheduling nightmare, let alone they do not provide good patient care or follow-up.
