Dr. Mary Frances Curtis, MD

The office runs pretty much on time. It's hard to get in, and now she's retiring which is so sad. I hate that I have to find another physician yet again - CHI Franciscan certainly can't hold onto their physicians. She got me where I needed to be and took great care of me. I always felt like she knew who I was - no matter how many people she had to see or how much "paperwork" she had to do on the computer just to get me the one thing I needed. She was dedicated to getting what she needed medically and what I needed personally.

Dr. Curtis has been a great asset to my overall health and well being. She is thorough, takes time to understand the problem, and is forthcoming about the choices in treatments. Overall an excellent physician who cares a lot about her patients. Highly recommended.

I'm the type of person that likes to give good reviews when a job is well done, but my recent visit with Dr. Curtis has left me bothered. I went in due to extreme pain and discomfort. I could not stop crying. I just started a new job and had yet to receive my insurance card in the mail. While waiting for Dr. Curtis, my HR called me to let me know important information right when the doctor walked into the room. Dr. Curtis was over talking, I'm sure she was thinking I was crying talking to a friend or family. I got off the phone and apologized and explained and she said she didn't have time, that she has other patients to see. All the time I'm crying in pain. Long story short, she gave me antibiotics and sent me on my way. Four long days later I wasn't better, saw a different doctor and was told I had an abscess and it needed drained ASAP. I have missed more days of work than I should have if properly diagnosed. If you want a doctor that does not have any compassion, that is in a rush,… and only cares about the next appointment...then she is the right doctor for you. I would not recommend her. I give her 2 stars because she gave me the correct antibiotic.

If you are sick, and want some compassion, this is not the doctor for you. She may be a doctor, but is sorely lacking in people skills. When she is on call, and you need her, she makes no pretense about being inconvenienced. Just stay away from her, I warned you!

DR. Curtis is a great doctor and cares for her patiences. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything so that anyone can understand.

Exceptional doctor who treats the whole patient and truly cares.

After being a patient for many years, I can't imagine seeing another doctor and, in fact, didn't while out of the area for 18 months. Dr. Curtis knows me well, understands my idiosyncrasies and allows me to have a say in my health care. She's excellent at explaining and answering any questions I may have, honestly and openly.

THANK YOU FOR BEING MY DOCTOR, AND THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU. YOU MADE MY DAY TODAY BY MAKING ME FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF. WHENEVER I SEE YOU, YOU ALWAYS TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN TO WHAT I AM SAYING AND UNDERSTAND MY PROBLEMS. THANK YOU AGAIN.
