Dr. Maryam Kashi, DO

In early August I went in to have my periodic 5-year colonoscopy at AdventHealth. Dr. Maryam Kashi found a 5cm. cancerous mass in my colon. She immediately sent a biopsy of the mass to the lab, ordered CT scans of my abdomen, pelvis, and chest, and referred me to Dr. Matthew Albert, a colon and rectal surgeon in the same facility. When the results of the scans came in indicating that the cancer had not spread beyond the colon, Dr. Albert called right away and offered to operate on me early the next morning. The cancer was removed just one week after my colonoscopy! I am extremely pleased with how well my colon surgery and recovery process went at AdventHealth. Doctor Kashi and Doctor Albert are my heroes and their teams were outstanding. I feel that their quick action to identify and subsequently remove my cancer saved my life. Furthermore, I honestly think that there could not have been a more qualified team than the one led by Dr. Kashi and Dr. Albert, whose expertise, competence,… skills, and experience were truly outstanding. I'm extremely grateful to each of them and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who might require their services.

She helped me with my SIBO

Dr. Kashi and the nurse practitioner make me feel crazy for my symptoms as if I'm lying about them. I just don't feel listened to here. The office is extremely unorganized and never returns my calls.

I had a very serious problem about two years ago that ended up requiring surgery. Dr. Kashi and her staff ordered the appropriate tests and confirmed the diagnosis before referring me to a surgeon nearly two years ago. She has provided excellent follow-up care ever since. I highly recommend her!

If you want your esophagus and stomach screwed up with significant acid reflux let me recommend Dr Kashi to do it for you. I have never had such a bad experience in my life. I have never left a negative review for any of my doctors associated with Florida hospital now adventhealth. I have left numerous messages they have a call back so that I can schedule per Dr Kashi for face app ablation I believe it is. Never received a call back and all I can expect now is to get some type of attitude because of this review I am leaving. Now I'm stuck in a situation where I have nothing but acid reflux, cannot even sleep at night without crying practically. Perhaps this will energize somebody to call me so that they can take care of the problem that they created. I am in such pain and Kashi is to blame.

I had an endoscopy done with doctor Kashi. The scraping of my esophagus and my chest as I understand it was completed. The next part of the process was to get in ablation. Prior to the endoscopy I never had any significant acid reflux. Today I run to the Jon and try to sleep at night with nothing but acid reflux. I understand and ablation is needed to seal off the bed cells and hopefully take care of my acid reflux which is out of control. I am not satisfied at all and I'm concerned or concerned that I will be living with this acid reflux for the rest of my life. My review is not even considered next until I hear from doctor office to set up an ablation. Then perhaps I will change the review. I have never left a doctor with anything but at 5 plus plus plus review this is my first. Disappointment

Dr. Kashi and her team were so thorough. I first met with the Nurse Practitioner, and then, I met with Dr. Kashi. They listened to me and provided their thoughts and suggested options to get to the root cause of my issues and discomfort. They gained my immediate trust, and I look forward to the treatment plan and next visit. I am very happy to have seen them and be in their care.

I can't say enough about her I have been suffering for over a year now and my weight got down to 84 pounds and I am just under 5'7' and no one would listen to me not even Cleveland Clinic! She took time to listen and then she got me in for a procedure on the same day and diagnosed a very rare disease all in the same visit!!!! There are no words to say how grateful I am to her! Would recommend her absolutely! She is over 5 star all the way!!!

My mother is 82 years old and an outstanding lady. She has had an internal bleed for over 6 months now. Not found and they keep giving her blood and iron. Imagine of your car has an oil leak. Do you just keep dumping oil in it like an old car hoping it doesn't quit working or do you fix the leak? Guess what they have done with my mother? Another low blood diagnosis at the hematologist and they said we would need to consult our G.I. doctor and we have called and called and no response. On a Friday , just after 1 and about 630 pm. Today is Saturday and nothing yet. We had to set up a blood transfusion on our own this time. My sister has tried calling as well. Their on call service was sort of rude and they did not even know which doctor was on call. Very unprofessional and we WILL be looking for another doctor ! My mother deserves so much better !

I never could get to see Dr. Kashi, I was always referred to the NP. While she was nice enough, they have never been able to diagnose my ongoing pain. Based on all my symptoms and pain, it indicates a gallbladder issue, but all I keep getting told is its a "fatty liver." Clearly there is an issue, and instead of pushing me off because you don't know what the deal is, take the time to figure it out. Always so lazy. For the amount of money I spend on Healthcare, I deserve to have a doctor be competent and not shove me off to see an NP.
