$350 for a waste of time office call. They lied about taking my insurance.

I had a one-inch nasal bone mass. Dr. Ishii just did a hastily 6 second!! nasal endoscopy (without any report nor image) and said there is no problem inside your nose. He ordered a CAT scan. In second visit he didn't even look at my CT and said he cannot see my CT (while the next doctor I visited had full access to whole my records and CT and download them easily, probably Dr. Ishii was just too lazy to try to pull it up) and then he gave me two options: He said do you need me to refer you to my wife and she will give you a quick appointment or you need me to refer you to another Dr and he will give you an appointment in six months! Then referred me to HIS WIFE (as his routine protocol) the plastic surgeon, and told me to bring my CT to his wife’s office, and she will take a look at it to see what is the problem! (he referred me without even knowing what was the problem). Their only goal is to maximize their profit and they don't care about people’s lives. I did surgery two… days ago somewhere else and my surgeon found I had one inch mass inside my nose which was missed with doctor Ishii. In my experience, he was careless and inattentive. I wasted time and my health was endangered by his negligence.

this is the first review I have ever written but fell that I need to when reading all the other responses. Dr. Ishi was very careful when checking all options before surgery. Both he and his wife were top notch professionals and gave me the options, let me make the decision. This procedure has changed my life in the near term. I am sleeping better, have more energy and can breath for the first time in 15 years. would highly recommend both Dr. Ishi and his wife. I wouldn't have wanted any other team.

Dr. Ishii is excellent in his time he takes to explain procedures, diagnosis, and creating an individual treatment plan for my needs. I highly recommend him as one of the best I know.

What a letdown. The doctor only knows 1 protocol and how to refer his wife, the plastic surgeon, so that they can maximize their profits. Trying to contact him or his office is nearly impossible and once you do it will take forever before you get any real results or a call back. His whole Hopkins phone system was answered for me about 1 in 10 times. Like one other reviewer wrote, his favorite phrase is, "make sense?" No, you don't make sense. Why do you proscribe steroids and antibiotics 10 times over when they are not making any difference? My daughter had a surgery with him and his wife and now she has more infections than she did before. His wife left a bump on my daughter's nose and wanted my daughter to pick up some of the charges to fix the bump. My daughter would rather save her pennies and see someone else than to go back to Lisa Ishii.

Dr. ISHII, Is a wonderful Doctor. When I had to have half of my thyroid removed, Dr. ISHII, explained why I needed the operation how long It would take. The recovery time was better then I expected. The surgery went extremely well. I Thank Dr ISHII for his patience and the time he took Explaining everything to me. I haven't had a problem with my Thyroid again. Thanks, to the Great Job Dr. ISHII did. I would recommend Dr. ISHII Highly. As a matter of fact I have recommend Dr. ISHII to many others including my family.

upon rushing me out the door his final question was: understand? i responded with: no. he walked away leaving me lost and full of questions about my diagnosis, the medications he was prescribing and follow-up tests. i'm not fooling myself to think that i'm the only one in the office and he doesn't have other things to tend to, but some semblance of concern, some acknowledgement of my confusion and questions would have been nice and gone a long way.

i had a massive tumor affecting my sinuses as well as my eye. Dr. Ishii mannned a 4 surgeon team and after 12 hours of surgery i am doing fantastic 1 week post op. highly recomended

Dr. Ishii was extremely kind and really listened to my concerns related to a chronic sinus infection. After allowing me to try prescription therapy, he made a very oft push for a sinus surgery. The surgery was great and the medications prescribed post-op really helped with healing. Very knowledgeable and open to patient ideas about treatment.
