Dr. Matthew Jason Snyder, MD

This is not a review of fwo,had several issues resolved by two I was referred to Dr snyder by one of his associates, for rotator cuff Repair, not very friendly ,thought of Him as not quite rude but close Told me that he will have to disconnect my bicep tendon, and I will have popeye syndrome The tendon will retract down to The bicep and have a lump,like popeye... Well decided I would go else where,and did. Recently had rotator cuff surgery, and repair of bicep tendon, not just left disconnected Glad I went for 2nd opinion before I had internal body parts disconnected As said earlier no reflection on all Of the doctors at fwo I definitely had interactions with some fine doctors there But my whole experience was one appointment with one doctor Was negative,

After having pain in my hip for over a month and seeing a PCM before being referred to ortho I went in just to have Dr. Snyder review my xrays (that had already been looked at multiple times) and say "Your bones are fine, come back in 4-6 weeks if you still have pain" I already knew that my bones were fine and that I probably needed an MRI because my PT believe's that I probably have a torn labrum, but Dr. Snyder wants to wait a whole month before even checking to see if that is the issue. Most unhelpful appointment I have ever had and a waste of money.

Had a complete bicep tendon repair, with a cadaver tissue, and the surgery was successful. Bedside manner was good, and very professional. After months of physical therapy and Dr. Snyder's care, I was able to return to my job. I recommend Dr. Snyder, he is a great doctor.

Had a 10:30am appointment. Was called into an exam room at 10:40am (no big deal). Stayed there until 11:30am, when I went out to ask if I would be seeing the doctor soon. I was met with “you’re next.” And 10 minutes later, I was. When Dr. Snyder came in the room and asked how I was doing, I said that I’d be a little better if I hadn’t been sitting so long. He shrugged and said “welp, sorry.” The sheer insolence and disrespectful manner was disappointing to say the least. He made it clear that I was wasting his time and that I had inconvenienced him.

Make sure you do your homework before your visit with Dr. Snyder. If you have pain and the dr says nothing is wrong MAKE SURE YOU GET A SECOND OPINION. ASAP Last visit with dr Snyder was diagnosed as having some type of arthritis, when there was no arthritis found in the blood test. Went thru 2 different types of blood test with rheumatoid dr and she said the blood test said was false that I had no arthritis. Went back to Dr Snyder and he stated that I have Rheumatoid arthritis. I wasted 3 months with this Dr., and come to find out I had a torn ACL.

Dr Snyder was referred to me by work comp. I had a left rotary cuff injury. He did surgery to repair it and I woke up pain free and recovered nicely. He did a good job.

This was the first time my daughter and I saw this doctor and I had an appointment for 4:00. We waited in the waiting cubicle for an hour and then waited for another 30 minutes in the exam room for his opinion on my daughter's knee. I had to leave because I had to be at work at 6:00 and we still didn't see him. Why schedule an appointment if I'm going to sit that long for him to see her?

Dr. Matthew Synder performed a total left shoulder replacement on me a year ago and I have full use of it with no pain. Wish I had him do it years ago. I suffered excruciating shoulder pain before the surgery!!

Arthroscopic surgery was quick, no pain, quick recovery, no problems;play sports almost every day.
