Dr. Matthew Perry

I have been working with Dr. Perry for the last year and can not say enough about him. He is takes his time and ensures you have an complete understanding of the situation. He thoughtfully lays out your options, never gets tired of ensuring your questions are answered and has great followup. He put me at ease. One of the best doctors I have ever been too.

Too long to wait for any Dr.- over 1 1/2 hr. Just for check up. Staff is surly .

After two visits to the ER and two CT scans I visited Dr. Perry (the on call) urologist. The ER Dr. & radiologist both agreed that fluid was backing up in my left kidney, there was not a kidney stone but there was a partial obstruction in my ureter and the CT scan suggested I may have cancer. Upon reading my paperwork Dr. Perry kept saying no, no, no as he read along apparently disagreeing with the other doctors. He excused himself for approximately five minutes to look at the CT images. When he returned he declared this was all being caused by muscular/skeletal problems and was coming from back pains. I disagreed and asked him why I was getting pains in my lower left abdomen. He agreed to do a procedure (never said what that procedure would be) where he would go in and place a stent if needed at which point he handed me off to the scheduler. They made an appointment for Monday for a surgery. After waiting in pain over the weekend I was getting ready to leave for the surgery center… when I received a call from the surgery center saying I would have to reschedule for the following Monday as they had run out of oxygen. Remember I am in enough pain to send me to the ER three times. I called the scheduler to cancel my procedure and any further appointments with Dr. Perry or his associates. I found another Urologist who put me in surgery the following day after my initial visit and installed a stent to open my partially blocked ureter. Pain instantly gone PTL! When I told Dr. Perry the ER Dr. had said a tumor may be the cause of the partial blockage his answer was "sometimes they say more than they should". Sadly, I have been since diagnosed with cancer in that area. So Dr. Perry you were wrong on all accounts!

I cant tell you how much I did not enjoy my visit to Dr. Perry. The office staff when you first walked in was super rude, no one even greets you. The patients are like cattle, just moving you along. The drs nurse was the only nice part of the entire visit. Dr Perry has ZERO bedside manner. You cant get a hold of ANYONE when you call the office. I begged for my results...I went to another urologist and what a difference....I wont be back

I would recommend Dr. Perry I had no pain from the operation I wish that I had done the operation 5 or6 years ago

Dr. Perry is a wonderful doctor. He is thorough, knowledgable and professional. I was recently diagnosed with T-3 cancer. Dr. Perry and his partner performed surgery and I could not have imagined better results. I have chemo in the future, but at this point I am healing well. I would give Dr. Perry my highest praise and recommendation.
