Dr. Matthew William Taylor, MD

I started seeing Dr. Taylor as a follow up “issue” when he was the dr on call. He was amazing. I felt so comfortable with him and after my first visit. He spent time with me going over my past history and current concerns. He is very knowledgeable and I felt very confident in his guidance. He follows up via phone call and made me feel like a priority even though I was technically one of his partners patients. Very Impressed.

A skillful doctor that completed a hysterectomy robotically with less discomfort than my last dental appointment. It had been many years since I had seen an ob/gyn doctor. My last visit was with a female doctor I had seen for many years who had since retired. As a result, I was somewhat apprehensive about seeing a new doctor. I lucked out! Dr. Matthew Taylor was very clear in explaining what was to happen before the surgery, during and after. He was wrong on the after surgery expectations as the only indications that I had surgery were the 5 tiny tiny stitched Xs on my stomach. Dr. Taylor's office and bedside manners were also very professional yet very calming making it easy to ask any questions.

I've gone to Dr. Taylor for 11yrs and he's delivered 6 of my babies. Not all deliveries are textbook, and I can tell you he is very quick thinking and calm and makes you feel at ease. I've suffered a few miscarriages and he's very caring during difficult situations as well. At first I was a bit apprehensive about seeing a male OB, but he's very professional, intelligent, kind and personable. He makes you feel comfortable and listens to your concerns and takes time to explain things clearly. I've also known a few nurses over the years that have worked with him and he's VERY highly regarded amongst them which says a lot. When the nurses go to him and trust him you know he's a great doctor! As you can imagine I've seen him a lot with that many pregnancies, and run into other patients of his. I've heard nothing but great things about him throughout the years. I'd without a doubt recommend him to anyone!

Last time I went in to see Dr. Taylor I didn't realize the Pelvic Exam would hurt so much. Then I just had to sit there in pain while he talked to me but I couldn't concentrate on anything but how painful it was. Dr. Taylor when he does the tests like the pap he normally doesn't leave me in pain. I thought since he diagnosed a Fibroid that he would want to keep watching it and would want me to come in more than a year. At least he could tell me if it grew, and where it was.

I went in for a 10 week appt with DR Taylor and found out I was having a m/c. He and his whole office staff were so caring and compassionate. It really helped reaffirm my choice in doctor.
