Dr. Matthew Ronald Wolff, MD

Dr. Wolff was the best doctor I could have asked for. He was reassuring and dedicated and literally saved my life.

Very personable, highly recommend, , went beyond normally expected care, very through. Would return to him if ever necessary.

When I was 20, UW found a minor thickening of my mitral valve. Dr. Wolff made me feel dumb for being concerned and like a hypochondriac. Skip to 12 years later when I have a severe thickening of that valve. The nurse said that Dr. Wolff wrote very rude comments in my chart and his negligence likely led to my issues now. It's now 9 years since diagnosed by a different cardiologist - I had rheumatic fever as a child - and have stenosis. When caught early medications prevent scarring. I've now had 3 procedures to allow blood to flow and am young enough that I'm likely to need open heart surgery down the road. I also can't have children because of this. I could have a stroke and die. I'm also on 150mg of beta blocker for life. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Wolff to anyone. I have no recourse and he ruined my chances of having children and possibly shortened my lifespan.

The best, most dedicated doctor I've ever had.
