Dr. Ruffy personifies the definition of what a doctor. He is a gentle, kind and caring doctor. Dr. Ruffy is a true professional and a good human being. I have know him for 30 years and have taken my whole family to him. God bless him! He is a rare find !

Dr Ruffy himself is a good doctor but his scheduling staff is horrible. Days before my appointment & every appt i have someone would call to confirm to come an hour early of scheduled appt since she claim my eyes need to be dilated. This appt i checked in before the hour early appt & it took more than an hour for me to be called till i went to the front desk to complain. After my complaint i was called in 5 mins. I asked the person why so late she claimed that my chart was not marked that im coming early usually she said they mark the chart ! So my advice if you were asked to come early maybe its best to inform the front desk.

I Have to disagree with the first comment. Yes there might be a long wait at this doctors office but one thing I completely disagree with is that the doctor is money hungry, on the contrary this is one of the few doctors that is in this profession for the passion and for helping others rather than the money. His staff is not nasty and neither is the Doctor. The doctor is a very compassionate person. The wait might be long because this doctor doesn't not rush his patients just to get paid he actually listens to and takes his time examining you. There are not many doctors better than him out there. This person who wrote this comment contradicts themselves by saying he dr tells you to go call 911 but she was seen...So obviously the doctor took time out of his schedule to see her and the staff was nice enough to give her this appointment. For someone to wish harm on another person obviously has some issues of their own, so for them to be judging and criticizing someone else is not humane.

Expect to wait there for more then 3 hrs.It doesn't matter if you have an appointment,or it's an emergency nothing.All this dr cares about it Money.Which they all do but this one is the worse.Starting from the front desk people ,nasty women giving attitude 24/7 the Dr obviously doen't care cause he is the same as them.When he knows he takes 1 hr with one patent how can schaduale appointments 15 min apart? Honestly there are better drs out there then him.I will never go there again.i went there twice and that was because he forgotto even write on the presciption how mant times did i have to userhe ear droper that didnt eve work in the end.Like i said this dris a money hunger dr. He doesn't care if he makes you go insane waiting.He'll tell you call 911. And then he says i wait an hr when i go to a dr? Really whos complaing gor an hr wait? An hr is nothing in his office.First time i waited 4 hrs second time 3.So you tell me how normal is that .Anyways my only sugestion that i… can give if u really reallyyy have no other dr to go to is just sign in and come after 3 hr see where u stand. What goes around will come around.One day i hope to see him wait for hrs and days in pain cause he is not getting any younger and it will happen so he can feel what other feel as we're waiting for him
