I love coming here he's always great with my little family and where always in and out and his staff rocks if you have a new baby or just a kid bring you kid in he's the best...
they are absoulety caring . they saw my daughte during there lunch break to make sure she was ok. I was going between school and work with no time to spare and they always make time for kids.
Worst Doctor makes you wait 2 hrs in the room And when he finally comes in he is in a hurry and checks patients in less then 3 minutes
I had an awful experience. I'm not sure what's going on there but I will never go back. The nurses were very nice and helpful but that's just about it.
Was over half an hour late taking us back. MA was super nice and helpful. I had all 3 of my girls in for well child checks. While the med student was pushing on my 8 year olds stomach she asked if it hurt. My daughter said yea (not ouch, no tears, no wincing, no visible sign of pain, just "yea") immodestly she tells the other med student to order x-rays. Ummmm NO. I told her absolutely not. So at this point I'm done with her. My 2 year old has a slight rash on her bottom (she's been eating acidic food lately so, it happens sometimes) the med student made a HUGE deal out of this. When I explained that I always carry Aquafor (sp) she said "oh this happens often" all accusing. Like...no, I'm a parent of a small child, it's NORMAL to carry butt rash cream. Then they tried to use some method I was warned would be painful to clean wax out of my daughters ears, wax that was not compacted or bothering them, nor was it affecting their hearing (they had just tested their hearing). They had my 7 and 8 year old daughters pee in cups. Then they wanted to culture them to ensure they didn't have UTI's because the white blood cell count was high. Neither of them have any signs of a UTI. No burning stinging or itching no pain at all. They said the white blood cell count was high. It could be because they didn't get a clean catch. I'm almost 30 and can tell you I can barely get a clean catch. That s*hit is complicated. So at this point the dr checks throats and says their tonsils are swollen. Neither have complained about sore throats or had coughs at all. He wants me to chart my oldest daughters bowel movements for the next week (because she said "yea" to the tummy hurting thing. He also prescribed me 2 creams for my 2 year olds rash, without asking if they were frequent or how long this particular one had lasted. He wants to see all of my kids again next week. In my opinion this entire appointment was ridiculous. I don't ever write reviews but it was that bad. Over prescribing, blowing everything out of proportion. It just feels money hungry. Like they will bill my insurance for every single little thing they can get away with. I will be finding a new office.
The dr was extremely late 1hr Short with us and not kid friendly at all
Don't ever take your kids here! He is awful and only cares about charging for the appointment! Spent 2 hours waiting for an appointment and he didn't even spend 30 seconds in our room. Was rude to our daughter, said she was bad and she wasn't even the patient. Was rushing from room to room and wrote us ADHD medication for our 5 month old who had a cold because he thought it was our older daughter he was seeing, he didn't even look at her chart! Awful ethics and arrogant attitude but didn't seem knowledgeable. Med student seemed smarter than he did. Speaks with a thick middle eastern accent but said he was SPANISH... SHADY!!!!! I'm calling my insurance and reporting him because the office manager is his wife and she was worse than Dr. Dahan. Pathetic clinic, smelly and was dirty.
Switching Dr's as soon as possible! The wait is absolutely ridiculous!
Dr. Dahan gets 4 stars because the wait time can be ridiculous, other then that he is a great doctor. I had my first child in 2013 & dr. Dahan cared for him while he stayed in the nursery. He did my first sons circumcision and my newborn baby's as well. My newborns four skin was almost complete closed(that was frightening) Dr. Dahan told me while still in the hospital my baby might have to see a specialist. I scheduled my sons circumcision appointment with Dahan and he was able to do the circumcision! They also gave me a discounted price because I wasn't able to pay the $300 . It would have cost much much more for my son to get circumcised with a specialist. I'm grateful for Dr. Dahan. In 2014 a friend of mine had a daughter, her daughter was having trouble breathing but the doctor that was caring for her told her it was normal. The first appointment Dr. Dahan sent her to the hospital because she had ammonia. Everyone with a child knows how scary that would be for your newborn to have ammonia. Dr. Dahan is a well educated doctor that cares about his patients. He might have a lot of patients so the wait time might be longer but I trust him with my child.. Period.
Horrible experience waited 3 hours for a 30 second visit. Don't waste your time he dosent care about your time at all. Never going back!
Young parents, frustrated with nurses and doctors, we were done with everyone about our 4 yro old sons disorder. .. we asked and asked for answers and nobody had them .. the next day our son was being realeased and we still had no answers! DR. Dahan was our savior! He is the one that gave us the answers we needed and prescribed our son with the medication he needed ... this was in 2002 and we kept DR. Dahan for all 3 of our children until we left the state in 2008... by far, he is a great Doctor. ...give him a chance !
Terrible. No ethics. Just out to manipulate and take money that isn't his. He doesn't care what happen to your kids he just want you to worry about your child to order unnecessary test to get money. All staff hates him. He belongs in jail.
Dr Dahan is an amazing Dr. I have been taking my daughter there since she was born in 2012. The staff is so family-friendly and you always feel welcome. Any time you are concerned about the health of your child you can call the day of and be seen! He also accepts walk ins. Just two days ago I brought my daughter in because she had choked on a nickel and he saw me 30 mins before closing and got x rays! The staff is wonderful and Jennifer at the front desk is sweet and caring!
Not on time/communication poor/ wait time 2 hrs/staff nice/more of business side than actual health care.
his ego is as big as his abdomen. unprofessional. corrupted.
Dr. Dahan came to see us is in the hospital when I had our baby girl in 2012. He has been very good to our family and when Childrens hospital sent us back home after our daughter was very sick Dr. Dahan scheduled an x ray and she ended up having pneumonia and he was able to treat her. He saved her life! I can call and be seen the same day. I also love all his staff, Jennifer, Ali, Maria, Sandra & Nicole. Everyone of them are so nice and I even love calling their office. A family friendly environment. I love taking my kids to Dr Dahan. Pediatric HealthCare thank you for meeting our families needs!
Dr. Dahan is good when you need an appointment quickly. He can always get you in on the same day right away. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are so nice. he is great!
This dr has no idea what he is doing with your child let alone any persons for that matter, if you take your child in and you have a runny nose he will check you out to see if you are sick, you may think that is convenient but than a nurse comes in with paperwork that they want you to fill out so they can charge your insurance up the butt oh you dont have insurance thats okay he will just charge your wallet uo the butt cus than you will have to do 10 seperate tests that have nothing to do with whats going on with you and if you tell him you cant pay for an office visit which is 110 dollqrs and up depending on tests he will get mad cus he feels like you disrespected him and he will treat your child like thy dont matter anymore because he isnt making money off of you . The only thing that this dr cares about is money he could care less about your child or how you feel about a diagnoses if you question him he will want you to schedule an appointment with the other dr that comes in to the office every once in a while. He also disrespects the staff in front of patients and is quite rude to the children if theybare loud because theybhave been waiting for an hour and half or more. I would certainly recommend parents not taking their children to this dr.
I have been going to Dr. Dahan for a year now. I have 2 children. In that year he has sent both of my kids to 6 different specialists and every time we have gone they have wondered why we got sent to them in the first place. I can't say that he miss diagnose because he would actually have to know something about medicine to diagnose. He often sends as home with antibiotics for my children without knowing what is wrong. He gives out medication for symptoms that your child doesn't even have. The wait time is very long sometimes over an hour. I do not trust him and I'm searching for a new pediatrician. He gets 1 star because I have to.
He misdiagnosed my child and kept having him return. He also wouldn't give him a badly needed referral to a pulmonologist. The only thing he is good at is making money.
OK Doctor, Will double charge Ins. Company, slow to return money
I have been bringing my kids to Dr. Dahan for almost 4 years now and he was the only doctor to correctly diganose my daughter after 2 visits to the ER and 2 visits to another doctor. I think he is a great doctor, he really cares about the well-being of the children and my kids love him.
Watch out for his diagnose about your child illness, always get a second opinion for it. He will alway tell you that your child has a bladder infection without testing or ear infection without symptoms or bronchitis and then perscript antibiotic. My son was so sick because of his abusing antibiotioc and misdiagnosed. When I went to other clinic and the doctor check my son come to find out he was totally fine and healthy.
