Dr. Mazen S Daoud, MD

I went in today, concerned about certain spots. It wasn't just a 10 minute visit, they addressed EVERYTHING I had an issue with plus issues that I didn't know about. I only wish, every doctor that I visit, would treat me like these girls. I even felt like a special person when I left. I don't know how many people could say they look forward to the next visit, but I can. Courtney (very sweet girl) even gave me samples of products that she used or knew would help me. Wonderful people that I would, and intend to, refer everyone I know to go to. I'm sorry I don't remember the names of the other two ladies that were there. They were totally awesome!!!

Rushed visit. Didn't listen to my questions. 45 minutes in the waiting room. Front staff rude

Been going for more than 10 years: asked for spouse's buttocks and bottom of foot to be checked as there are very dark spots recently more apparent. Response was " I do not look at private parts, can you imagine if I had to do that on everyone?" Shocked to hear a Dermatologist actually say that. Medicare has been reimbursing him for years and he cannot do his job? Avoid this practice if you are an intelligent person who asks questions. He is too busy running from room to room and doesnt want to be slowed down to do a thorough exam. We will not be going back.

We have been seeing Dr Daoud for more than 10 Iyears. He is always rushed but seemed pleasant and friendly. Never an exam of husband's buttocks or bottom of feet which he has several dark areas/freckles. When asked to please look at them, he snapped "I do not do that, can you imagine if I had to do that on every patient?" I wanted to answer that that was what his job was; what he was getting Medicare dollars to do. We thought that was what his job was: to thoroughly examine the patient as we have always believed that was something that professional Dermatologists do. We will not be going back. Very rude and inappropriate comment. Perhaps he should go back to Derm school in MN.

I have been seeing Dr Daoud for 7+ years for annual check ups and visits when I notice a problem issue. He is very professional and has twice found skin cancer areas I hadn't noticed. It is a busy practice so he cannot sit there and shoot the breeze with you and he utilizes his PA's for things that do not need a MD's attention. Waiting room wait is short.

I was referred by my family doctor. Very nice communication skills. Took the time to explain everything. Was not rushed. 100% pleased.

Dr. Daoud is the Dermatology expert for SWFL. His training, credentials and expertise is extraordinary, as is his friendly and positive disposition. He also performs dermatological laboratory testing and diagnosis for many of the physicians in the area.

Take a number take a seat! Dr Mazen S Daoud probably spent all but 30 seconds looking at me from a distance. Prescribed medication and vanished! Would not recommend this dermatologists. Do your homework, find a reputable dermatologist. I would not recommend him.

I went into this doctor as it was suggested by my Medicare provider. I was charged the co-pay to see the specialist which I never did. The PA looked at my hives which I told her I've had before but only after taking medication. She proceeded to tell me she wanted to 'take one' and make sure it wasn't scabies. She then gouged a whole in my rib-cage, handed me prescriptions with no explanation and a sheet of paper telling me to go to a lab for tests. The 'prescriptions' were $156! that in addition to the $35 was quickly pushing 200 bucks on a SS income of less than 700/mo. One prescription was in two applications and different tubes to be administered a week a part. The day before the second application, a nurse called saying I didn't have to administer part 2 as I didn't have scabies (isn't that what I told her!) and that they wanted to me to come in because NOW they thought I had skin cancer! REALLY! Even I know the difference between skin cancer and hives! Waste of my $$.
