Waited 2 months for a physical appointment and Dr. Ancker blew off my physical and questioned my desire to have my MMR vaccine checked (I am visting a non-industrial part of the world). Turns out I have no measles resistance. I will not be returning to see Dr. Ancker again.

Dec 13th, 2009

Dr. Bowles is a terrible physician. After going to the office with abdominal pain that had previously misdiagnosed by another doctor in her office (Mariner Medical), she sent me for an ultrasound. I waited over a week to get the results which her nurse told me were normal (before which the nurse had chewed me out for calling her instead of waiting for them to call me--the nerve of me to take an active role in my own health care!). Fortunately, I just didn't trust this so I got a copy of the report myself and went myself to see a specialist of high repute. The specialist looked at the report and told me it was clearly not normal (though Dr. Bowles--now Dr. Ancker--had writtin normal at the bottom) and that I actually need to have surgery. Bottom line--avoid this physician. Your life may seriously depend on it!
