Dr. Eaton had been treating my child for an ongoing, unexplained illness for months. She was unable to determine a cause, reluctant to refer us out, and refused to provide care to a sick child. Sadly, this is the only PCP's office ever to refuse to see us when we called in with a sick feverish child. The office staff, besides Amanda at the front desk, is horrible. The phone staff who returns calls are rude, uncaring and simply dishonest. I'm both sad and angered by the care we received as we initially thought she was an OK PCP - I suppose that would have been the case had we only needed the typical well or in and out visit. But as soon as we needed a more advanced level of care, we felt like cattle being herded in and out. Though we were in the office weekly, we were always asked 'why are you here', as if we hadn't been there every week for the past 4 months. The intake staff looked at a computer reading off an end list of symptoms week after week -- only to find out when I obtained the medical records that they didn't even document these correctly when they asked! Really, its been such a frustrating experience. We're so disappointed with Dr. Eaton's lack of care, her CYA attitude at the end and, frankly, her inability to realize that she needed to refer our child to someone who could provide adequate care months sooner. Of course, we couldn't share any of these thoughts with her directly because our repeated calls asking to speak with her directly about the care of our daughter and our concerns about her condition went unanswered by her.
