She did a surgery without following the standard of care for that surgery and ruined me. Speak with your neighbors, I guarantee you will hear horror stores about this doctor and bad surgeries.

No bedside manner. No service after surgery. I changed doctors!

I was a patient of Melissa Trekell for about 13 yrs plus(she treated me for breast cancer). I have never not paid a bill. And because the office staff send the bill to the wrong address, never bothered to call my home phone or cell phone at any point, I was signed off on. I went to my appointment like normal and was told that she was no longer my doctor. I have tried to clear this matter up and get her back, but the office staff does not return calls. I called Terry Bradley about a month ago and was told she was out to lunch and she would call me back. The call never came. It took me bring my daughter to her office for and appointment for problems which she was turned away. She was told that Terry said they could not use a copy of her insurance card. So I asked to speak with Mrs. Bradley and was told that she left and she would call me back in about one hour, which I had to call her back after three hours, then was told that she would call me back after they closed, which that call… did not come till 6:50pm. At which time I was not at home. Jamie one of the office staff is saying that I can never get Meliss Trekell back asa doctor. That is really not okay but I will live with it. But what I do not understand is why when I sign papers to release my records, why after 4 plus years my new doctor does not have them. These record do not belong to that office, they are mine... I have spoken to Jamie time and time again and To Sherry Hicks and Terry Bradley about this.. The only one that was even helpful was Sherry Hicks and she is the account. I would hate to have to take legal action to get my records. Am sure that Melissa Trekell does not know what some of her staff is doing or she would not let this happen. If this has happen to me, it makes me wonder just how many other women this has happen too. I never wanted to lose Melissa Trekell as my doctor, I trusted her with my life.. But because of some of her office staff not checking address or making a phone call. That is what has happen. I do not blame Melissa Trekell for any of this, she most likely does not know what is going on....So I really hope she reads this review and not her office staff, cause they would most likely delete it to save their jobs.... I still send women I know that have breast problems to her and would love to have her back. but at this time I just want my records, and for this to not happen to another women.... Thank you for your time it took to read this review, just told you should know that Melissa Trekell is a great doctor, but some of her office staff needs to be replaced, cause they are costing her some bussiness.....
