Care and concern have been replaced by financial concerns and staff timing. Dr. Vera's staff used to care about the patient. They used to care about how you felt how your day was going and treating you for whatever it is that you needed at that time with a Godly attitude. The system has been replaced by numbers and the word I'm sorry which is not genuine has been used way too much. The receptionist spends too much time on the phone instead of checking patients in at the time she supposed to. The office manager only knows how to collect money not to think about someone's health and well-being. I came in here to retrieve a letter for surgery that is supposed to save my life. Without it unfortunately this year I will be leaving behind my 22-year-old daughter, my 16-year-old daughter and my 14-year-old daughter along with a one and a half-year-old grandson and a grandchild on the way. Because the receptionist checked me in late due to a question that I had I was forced to turn around… after driving 75 miles I asked to speak with the doctor for a moment and I was refused that right. When I explained to the woman that this is about life-saving surgery her response was "I'm sorry". I begged to see Dr. Vera or at least for them to write the letter that I need explaining some of the items that were in my records so that I could have this life-saving surgery and I was refused. This is a 150 mile round-trip for me, I am in constant pain, I am severely diabetic, and have other chronic illnesses that are life threatening. I would not recommend going to Dr. Vera anymore. She has gone from the kind loving caring Christian doctor who wanted to save lives and make people's health better to someone who cares more about being paid and following "policy".

Dr. Vera and her nurses are fantastic. If it weren't for her, I'd not go back to her office for routine visits. The support staff needs to get it together before they start costing her patients. They seem nice enough, but rather clueless.

May have a lot of patients at time but she never like saying no to a patient if they are needing to come in.always take her time and is very thoughtful. Never once mistreated me! She has help all my family members and all have been satisfied. I thank her for all that's she's done!

Dr. Vera was great. Her staff is amazing! Everyone really took care of my children and myself. Dr. Vera spent time with me and answered all of my questions. I never half to wait more than 5mins and always out within the hour!

I will not go back to this Doctor. She is rude very unprofessional she yells at her staff, you could hear her outside in the waitting room. She spends little time with you and not only does she take money from my insurance but she also want to sell me Amway. I was not happy. will not go back there and she now has all new staff whats really going on.

I had a great experience at Dr. Vera's office. The wait was not very long and when I saw her I felt she took time to really understand all my problems and concerns. She was really concerned about my needs and how I felt! I could tell that she was genuine and not just interested in getting out the door. I felt like the staff were very nice and professional. After reading some of the comments here, I honestly don't know why someone would write such horrible things. My experience was the exact opposite! I would really highly recommend Dr. Vera if you want a personal doctor who really cares about your needs!

I like Dr Vera, I dont care if I wait, it means she is taking her time to be with her patients, Thank Dr. Vera!

i am a teen & i dnt appreciate sitting for almost an hour for my appointment. her assistants r rude and careless. they are hispanic and one of them looks young. the waiting room is small & it gets crowded very quickly! I have eczema so when I'm describing what's going on all it seems like she only carez about my acne! she's like I can prescribe something for that & I'm jus sittin there like wat the... so I showed her were my eczema was & she looked at it in disgust and told me to put my shirt back down and she was like I can prescribe something. she's so careless she's somewat funny! I dnt kno... if ur impatient this place is not for I would not recommend this doctors office to anyone!

This doctor has the most unprofessional, untrained staff that I have ever seen in my life. No one has a clue what they are doing. The waiting room was full of screaming kids! My visit was so rushed and I was told if I had more questions I need to make another appointment. I have never felt so uncomfortable with a doctor in my life. I know that I won't be back to this office EVER.
