Very bad bedside manner!

Best Dr ever I recommended Dr. Lewen

This was one of the most stressful doctor visits I've ever been to. Me and my step daughter visiting her to have a well woman exam for her. First, she became angry and upset my step daughter after we refused a vaccine for guardasil. My step daughter began crying after the doctor criticized us for not taking certain medical measures. She continued to make fun of us and criticize my step daughter concerning personal issues and the fact that we do not own cell phones. My step daughter is going through several personal and sensitive issues in her life at the moment, which the doctor knew, and she made her feel very exposed and emotional about it. She didn't not make the situation any better and made us feel like we had been doing the wrong thing. We left the clinic feeling depressed.

A+ Physician!

Dr. Lewen has been amazing with my 16 year old daughter, who suffers from being overweight (and unfortunately was often bullied at school because of it). Dr. Lewen has really helped her by gently suggesting better eating and being more active. She also suffers from heavy periods and painful periods, causing her to often miss days of school when it was that time of month. Dr. Lewen prescribed her on a low dose birth control, which I was uncomfortable at the idea of since she is not active and I don't want her to be active, but Dr. Lewen reassured me that it was what was best for her. Her skin has cleared up and I think it's really helped make her periods lighter and less painful! I will be forever thankful to Dr. Lewen for her help with Casey. Dr. Lewen's main employee Karen is a treasure. She is so caring and attentive and remembers every one who walks in the door. Dr. Lewen and her are a perfect match! Dr. Lewen has also been super helpful in my transition to post childbearing years… and pre menopause! I recommend her to all of my friends...this doctor is a gem! I highly recommend!

Great physician and convenient location

No office is perfect, but Dr. Lewen and her staff are always courteous, on time, and helpful whenever I come in for my annual well woman exam. I have no complaints

The first time she was fine, but the second time that a call because I had some breast pain, I guess I called the wrong number and the reception girl from the other Dr in the same office give me an appointment to see him. When I got there thinking that I had an appointment with her, they were question me why I want it to see the other Dr and not her. Honestly I told them I don't care who will see me, who ever is available. I was concern about my pain. And they switch me again with her and when she came in the the room, she was not happy that I made the mistake of calling the other Dr. She told me you didn't want to see me, why? She told me that she could not belive that I made a mistake. I told her I was sorry that I call the wrong number I didn't think it was such a big deal but she made it very uncomfortable. After she inspect my breast she said you don't have anything quit touching I think you making it hurt. This is why I'm not going back. Like somebody else said here having great… experiences I believe that, may be she just did not click with me. I'm not an American by the way but I don't think this had to do with the way she act last time, I hope!
