Dr. Michael A. Ferguson, MD

Michael A. Ferguson, MD, is a pediatric nephrologist in the Division of Nephrology at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he serves as director of the Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program, director of the Renal Hypertension Program, and co-director of the Center for Midaortic Syndrome and Renovascular Hypertension, and is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in pediatric kidney disease and hypertension, with clinical expertise in conditions such as renovascular hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and acute kidney injury. Dr. Ferguson earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in pediatrics there, followed by fellowship training in pediatric nephrology at Boston Children’s Hospital.
