Dr. Michael Murphy, MD

Dr. Murphy has seen my daughter for about 8 years now. He's always listened to her, been attentive , and everything she needs. She's very strong willed and he's the Dr that talks to her the way she needs to be. He's straightforward and doesn't take crap from her. The whole staff is wonderful!

Dr. Murphy misdiagnosed my 15 year old, extremely drepessed son and refused acute care after me son had been assessed by several other professionals who all agreed that he needed acute care the same day. Then he refused to see us in the waiting room before turning us away.

I am truly satisfied with this office. I am new to the area, and hesitant about finding a Dr. for my child. It was tough to get the initial appointment, but after that I have never had a problem with appointments or even Dr. Murphy calling me back after hours, when ever I had questions. He has always responded in a timely matter. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable - friendly.... Thanks for all you do....

Dr. Murphy is a kind and compassionate provider. Other reviewers say he runs late, but it's because he actually cares enough to talk to his patients, not just hand them a prescription and take their money. Many times I have had to wait, but it's usually because someone comes in with a problem that takes longer to deal with. I have had my own appointments run over too and he never rushes me to get out so he can stay on a tight schedule. His office does have limited hours but they have always made sure I had an appointment when I needed to be seen.

Very limited hours, does not return phone calls, often running late. Rude staff. Would not recommend to anyone.

I have followed Dr Muphy to 3 practices. He mostly sees children and adolescents, but does have a few of us adult pts. He is a genuine person, an intelligent and caring Dr. He has helped me so much! I feel safe and secure with him as a Dr. He is kind, funny, and very human. I know that he and his staff care for and about me as a person and as a pt. I feel better just knowing I can call him and/or his office if I might need to speak with someone right then. I respect and admire him for his professionalism and his compassionate nature.
