My name is Julia. Dr. BOTTE HAS BEEN treating me for about 2 years. He is the kindest, smartest, most humble surgeon I've ever met. He genuinely cares about each and every one of his patients!

Dr. Botte was on call when I saw him yesterday. I was in extreme pain and feeling pretty sad about my recent accident. And first off, all his staff were wonderful. Dr. Botte immediately made me feel comfortable and cared about. He explained every procedure, never acted rushed, and his kindness and caring was so helpful when I was feeling so discouraged. And as to his expertise, it is evident that he is an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon. Five Stars Tina You Dr. Botte!

Dr. Botte has performed 7+ orthopedic surgeries for me in the past 8 years with excellent results and no complications, and I’ve presented him with some real challenges. He’s a wonderful, caring doctor and person and he has an excellent team working with him. He has my complete trust and I credit him with my ability to walk today. My only fear is that someday he will retire.

I met Dr. Botte at the VA (Veteran's Hospital) in La Jolla, CA. Usually, I do not feel very comfortable with male doctors(due to a problem previously that I had in the past with a male doctor), but Dr. Botte always made me feel safe and comfortable around him. He has a wonderful bedside manner and he will answer any questions you may have; in addition to, explaining anything that I wanted to know about. His love of helping the patients really shows, as he is also an educator to other doctors at the VA Hospital. He also works outside of the VA, as I found out. I was lucky enough to have him do my reconstructive ankle surgery (Chrissman-Snook). He has numerous years of experience, I also found out he also use to treat burned victims. I was being seen for my ankle injuries, and happened to have 3 degree burns on my hand from an accident, while I was making candles! Not only did he want to help me with the ankle injuries, but he took the time out, to let me know about how he used to care… for burned victims and volunteered to take a look at my hand to make sure that I would not lose function. He taught me a lot about burns, and I was very glad he told me everything he did, as at first I was not going to have the burn looked at by a doctor, since I did not see it as life threatening. Dr. Botte is like an angel sent from heaven, extremely caring, warm, excellent bedside manner, very knowledgeable, very patient, and willing to educate patients if they ask. Out of all the doctors that I have had in my life time he is the best doctor out of them all! I highly recommend Dr. Botte!!!...

I am so grateful that Dr. Botte came into my life when I broke my leg. He is an outstanding surgeon! When you're with him, you feel like you're his only patient even though he has a very busy schedule. He has a genuine concern for his patients and their care and he is so supportive. He's interested in the total well-being of his patients. When I saw him for one of my post-surgery follow-up appts.,he observed a dark mark on my leg & strongly suggested I see a dermatologist very soon. It turned out to be melanoma. The dermatologist said Dr. Botte literally saved my life! Although I'm not one to usually recommend people, I would recommend Dr. Botte to anyone I know who is in need of an exceptional orthopedic surgeon & a terrific person! He tends to run a bit behind but is well worth the wait!!

Dr. Botte genuinely cares about his patients and their total health. He clearly explains information & when you're with him you feel like you're his only patient. His treatment is thoughtful and reasonable. I feel blessed that Dr. Botte is my orthopedic surgeon. I have total faith in him!

I spent years trying to find a doctor who would listen to the problem in my ankle and the pain I was experiencing. After several rounds of physical therapy, having my foot casted, and even being told the pain was in my head, I found Dr. Botte. After being misdiagnosed by several orthopedic surgeons Dr. Botte was able to figure out the issue. I had been in pain for 10 + years and he finally took the time to listen. The man is more than a doctor-he becomes a friend to his patients. He sat and listened when I needed to cry, he always put the patient first and the patient plan, he let you know that he cares about you as a patient, and he takes the time to explain the issue/problem/injury so that the patient fully understands all aspects. No matter how busy he is, he will always make time for his patients. While the wait time is often extensive in the waiting room, it is worth it! Once you are his patient you will understand that he will spend as much time with you as you need and you… wont mind waiting. AND he was able to fix an issue that he described as rare and one that he has not seen before. He even cared about the scar and made sure that he took the time to close me up minimizing the appearance of a scar on my leg. This man is one of the finest and most professional people I can say that I have ever met and an amazing surgeon.
