Dr. Braun was a founding member of Wisconsin Radiology Specialists which is the largest radiologist practice in Southeastern Wisconsin. He is Chief Interventional Radiologist of the group. He practices primarily out of St Mary's Milwaukee Hospital. St Mary's just installed a state of the art interventional procedure lab in 2003 specifically designed to do aortic stent graft procedures. He will work with your surgeon to custom fit and place a graft to internally seal off your aneurysm. He has been working with stent grafts for the past 9 years.
Dr. Braun received his M.D. from the University of Wisconsin. He is both a board certified radiologist and interventional radiologist. He was an assistant professor of Northwestern University before moving back to his hometown of Milwaukee in 1995. He has published numerous scientific journal articles and a textbook called Interventional Radiology Procedural Manual, Churchill Livingstone, 1997.
