My daughter has been having serious stomach pains for a few years and has been to several gastro doctors. None of them are sure what is wrong with her. Dr. Barth was recommended to me by someone with similar problems and when I called his office he said he wouldn’t see my daughter. He said she should go back to her other doctor. The doctor she was working closely with is in Boston and she doesn’t live there anymore. She did see someone on Long Island but really wanted a second opinion. I never heard of a doctor not wanting to giv a second opinion. To me this shows that Dr. Barth does not really car about helping people feel better. I think he is a horrible person.

Dr. Barth quickly made a correct diagnosis that made an immediate difference in my life! Prior to that several doctors did not. His knowledge in the field of Gastroenterology is one of the best I have seen. As a Registered Nurse who has assisted many GI doctors, he is one of the best I have worked with in the past. I picked him as my GI doctor several years ago. The Emergency I had this weekend highlights that he is indeed a great doctor.

dr. barth is no better or worse than any other local gastro doc. what is infuriating is that he does numerous lab tests, billed through his own office as the lab. we chose him because he was accepting of our insurance. the tests that would normally be processed through our covered lab are being put though to our insurance co. since they are being shown as medical procedures,not covered in the first place, he knows that this will kick in our deductible. SCHEMING WAY TO MAKE UP THE LOSSES OF DEALING W/INSURANCE COMPANIES THAT YOU AGREED TO PARTICIPATE WITH. I AGREE WITH FIND ANOTHER DR.

I have finally found a doctor who cares and is willing to listen. I have been to a couple other gastroenterologists and I am happy to be able to recommend Dr. Barth to others. He is great
