Dr. Michael C Gordon, MD

I don't know why this man has glowing reviews. I was talked down to and made to feel very hopeless after seeing him. He is very arrogant and thinks his opinion was 'be all, end all' when in fact he is very behind the times with many of the medical literature and methodology regarding various conditions. Spoke very dismissively towards us personally, speaking in absolutes, with no open dialogue or discourse with his patient. Also spoke rudely of other fertility doctors and professions, which was not his place. I would not recommend.

Dr. Gordon gave my family and I a prenatal diagnoses of trisomy 21 for our daughter Penelope in 2014. he made such an impact on my family and I. I will never forget the care he gave to us in our most sensitive times. I remember of him often. He is CARING, SUPPORTIVE and great to have him on your side. we miss him in San Antonio.

Dr. Gordon closely examined our sons kidney problem in Utero, he also gave us his personal number and email. Answered every question we had, and then some. Even went as far as to send our information about our son to other hospitals across the northwest to get us more information with different pediatric urologists. His credentials are impressive, his bedside manner is second to none. I will remember this man for the rest of my life, for giving me comfort in difficult times. Dr. Michael Gordon is a god send.

Dr. Gordon wants nothing but the best for his patients. He is straighforward because both his patient and their little miracles lives are at stake. I had to seek IUI to make my dreams of having a baby come true and thanks to his care he caught the onset of preeclampsia and a placental abruption . Though my little one came at 29 weeks is is thriving and I couldn't thank Dr. Gordon enough for saving our lives.

Great bedside manner, kind knowledgeable doctor who took us through a scary high risk pregnancy

Dr. Gordon was my doctor in 2010 when I got pregnant with my doctor he is the best I can not believe what I have read he is not rude in the least he may come across conceited because he knows what he’s doing. Dr. Hibgy is equally great!!! He is strict and doesn’t like for patients to wait I had an appt every week and never once did I ever hear a bad comment on either dr. My daughter is here in this earth thank to God first and Dr. Higby who check me and I was starting to dialate at 20 weeks then of course doctor Gordon because he did my cerclage sergury him And Nayer my OB. I forever will be grateful to Hod and them. For my Besytiful baby girl.

Dr. Gordon is the absolute best perinatal specialist in San Antonio. Be patient with the staff at his new location and don't let them deter you from being his patient.

Dr. Gordon is much better than his partner, Dr. Higby (who misdiagnosed our daughter). He errs on the side of being better safe than sorry, which resulted in a lot of unnecessary medical bills and an induction for us, but with any pregnancy, especially your first, you probably are also in the better safe than sorry mindset. He tells it to you straight and in both medical and layman's terms. We were not thrilled our experience, but that's because our daughter was just small from a small mom, and these doctors just couldn't accept that and wanted to make it a medical issue when she was perfectly healthy.

Michael Gordon, MD is the most disrespectful, rude doctor I have ever seen. Most of his staff is nice, and they confided in me that Dr. Gordon is an terrible boss and the self-centered ego maniac.
