Dr. Michael David Scott, MD

Michael Scott is not a doctor, though he introduced himself and acted like one during my visit at Exer Urgent Care on May 7, 2025. He is a nurse practitioner (FNP), and his behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. I came in for a follow-up visit for knee pain. Instead of helping, he told me there was no point in being seen, said all he could offer was ibuprofen, and told me not to “waste my money.” This was a follow-up from a previous visit where I was prescribed Tylenol 3, which I brought with me (still mostly full) to show that it didn’t help. I wasn’t asking for opioids—I was asking about other options like cortisone shots. Michael denied I was ever prescribed that medication until staff confirmed otherwise. Another patient in the waiting area even stepped in and said Michael was being completely unprofessional. I later spoke with the office manager, who admitted I wasn’t the first to file a complaint about him and that he creates an uncomfortable… environment for both patients and staff. I left without receiving any medical care. Exer corporate gave a copy-paste PR response and took no real action. Avoid this provider if you’re looking for honesty, professionalism, or basic care.
