I was worried about my thyroid surgery and when I visit Dr. Michael Demeure, he explained everything with empathy and compassion to me and was very kind. After surgery I felt very calm and happy that all went well exactly as he explained it to me. I highly recommend this great Surgeon.

Went to Dr. Demeure after searching online for a surgeon to do a parathyroidectomy who has lots of experience at it. Procedure prepared for using Sestamibi and ultrasound scans. Surgical scar small (1 inch) size. Pain following the procedure was minimal, recovery fast, and subsequent labwork confirmed the successful results. Very happy with the experience.

I went to this doctor for help removing some thyroid cancer. He didn't request any imaging and performed my surgery 2 days after seeing him. During the surgery he cut a vocal cord nerve and took a nerve from my ankel to "repair" it. It didn't work nor did i consent to that.I woke up without a voice and confused as to why my ankel was bandaged up. He than left to California leaving losses ends in my care. My vocal cord is still paralyzed to this day and I STILL have cancer. He told me to go get more radiation even after telling him countless times that my radiation oncologist told me i was immune to radiation. This surgeon is careless and I hope no one else has the same fate that I have had.
