Dr. Michael David Duplessie

Nice pleasant staff. little bit of a wait [15minutes]. doctor took time to listen to all my complaints and made me feel at ease. answered all my questions and concerns.

Saw Dr Duplessie for the first time today. Very impressed with his front office staff, so nice,knowledgable and efficient.Dr Duplessie's manner was assuring and calming. Will definetely return and send my friends and family there.

I would have very strojg reservations about Dr Duplessie. He perfromed LASIKS on my eyes, cionvineced me dooing multiple "touch ups" (4) of my eyes were normal and i am now dealing with serious sight issues. Life changing for the worse. beware.

I FOUND DR DUPLESSIE TO BE A KIND, CARING DOCTOR WHO SYMPATHIZED WITH MY EYE PROBLEMS. HE HAS BEEN THE ONLY EYE DOCTOR THAT HAS NOT SCARED ME TO DEATH, HE IS THOROUGH & SUPPORTIVE. I DO NOT MIND WAITING FOR HIM AS I KNOW IT WILL BE WORTH IT. I NOW AM SCHEDULING CATARACT SURGERY WITH HIM...I WILL NOT GO TO ANY OTHER EYE DOCTOR.

This doctor is a disgrace to his profession. He comes off uncaring and arrogant, and the office does not have good communication practices. For example, optometry students treat the patients there, but that is never explained or exposed in all the paperwork given about the practice. I did not feel that good medical or communication practices are used in this office. Avoid 'em!

Dr. Duplessie has the most pleasant chair/bedside manner of most doctors I see. There is no assembly line feeling and he takes his time until you are comfortable with all aspects/questions regarding treatment or your visit.Wouldn't think of letting anyone else treat my eyes.........

This practice is just a big money-maker business that does not care about patients' health and is disrespectful of other people's time. The office has a few rooms where patients wait for the doctor to do a fly-by kind of exam. There were a few steps to the visit. First I had to wait for 90 minutes in the waiting room. Then, I was examined by a a very nice high-school graduate who was unqualified to do the job. Then I had to wait again in the waiting room. Then I was seen by another unqualified nice 'kid'. Then I had to wait in the waiting room, again. Then after I showed how upset I was, they asked me if I wanted to leave or wait to be seen by the doctor. Then the doctor came. He spent 10 MINUTES with me because the other eI have never in my lofe have employees HAD ALREADY EXAMINED ME. The whole experience took almost 3 hours. I have never seen anything like this in my life.

Dr Duplessie seems to be a fine doctor. He seemed knowledgeable, and courteous, and genuinely interested in making sure you understand what your problem is. I had two cataract surgeries performed by Dr Duplessie, both seemed to go smoothly, painlessly and without incident. His staff seems courteious and professional as well. I have referred several people to Dr Duplessie and they are also happy with the service they have received, including lasik surgery.

Dr. Duplesse does not return calls or manage his office staff. It is run like a three ring circus with the Doctor unaware and out of touch.Do not purchase glasses as the technician is unfocused. Upon picking up my glasses, I had to go to another office for an adjustment as my glasses were so bent out of shape and the two girls left to fit the glasses admitted to not having adjusted glasses in a long time. The Doctor never returned my calls nor apologized for the incompetence in his office. He hasn't learned that patients are keeping him in business. I would stay away from this office if you want good service and a proper doctor.
